These owl and little bear make very cute and fun door decorations. They clearly show whether the way is clear or not.

Both are easy to make even for crochet beginners with basic skills. The pattern explains everything step by step with photos.

This would make a lovely surprise gift for the whole family for Christmas. :-)

Both hangers are available individually or as a value set.

Also looks pretty as table decor:

Knitting pattern Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Funny egg cozies, not just for Easter! Also an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Decorations are possible as desired and according to your own creativity.

Material:
Basically, any yarn can be used with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.
1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + small leftover yarn pieces for decorating; here: set of double-pointed needles 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”; yarn needle for sewing in ends, possibly sewing needle and buttons, measuring tape, scissors.
Note: embroider eyes in black if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for babies/toddlers.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Short pattern in text form, designed for yarns with approx. 105 m length per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m length per 50 g
each knitted with size 4.0 double-pointed needles (then the egg cozies become nice and firm and stand up on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “Embroidering in duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial “Knotting in hair with a crochet hook"
  • Separate PDF pattern for the “double long-tail cast-on

Isn't this a cute eye-catcher for your table? Put Kiki the squirrel in a nutshell and let it nibble on the nuts a little. Everyone will think it's adorable! And the children will surely want to play with Kiki.
To crochet Kiki, you need reddish-brown cotton and eyelash yarn for hook size 2.5 mm - 3.0 mm, a little craft stuffing, and safety eyes. Beginner skills are enough.

A festively set breakfast table is an absolute must—especially on Christmas morning.  How do you like these Christmas-themed egg cozies? Santa Claus, Frosty, the snowman, and the Christmas angel will decorate your table—even if you don’t like eggs. They’re quick to crochet using a few pieces of leftover yarn in Christmas colors, and then you’ll have a nice little gift to bring to an Advent coffee get-together.

Do you like seasonal tables? I have a little corner in my entryway that gets redecorated again and again depending on the season. Here’s an autumn decoration with flower children:
There you’ll find the pumpkin girl and the chestnut child, as well as the two fly agaric mushrooms. Together with a few LED candles and autumn leaves, they’re an eye-catcher when you enter my apartment.
All the flower children have chenille wire inside their arms and legs, so you can bend the limbs into different  positions. You only need a very small amount of yarn for each one, so you can crochet the flower children from leftover scraps you already have. Don’t you want to crochet an autumn decoration like this too? Click the links to go to the corresponding pattern.

Christmas is just around the corner!

Christmas time = crochet time
Nothing beats a festively decorated Christmas table!

Filet crochet is perfect for creating a decorative Christmas atmosphere.
This pattern is ideal for beginners - this table runner will be finished in no time!

A detailed description of the filet technique can be found in the pattern.
A counting chart guides you through the Christmas design.

The finished table runner measures about 60 x 20 cm.
However, the listed gauge and the chart allow room for individual lengths.

And here is the pattern and more details...

This pretty flowerpot cover with star decoration is just the right outfit for your poinsettia. When it’s placed on the table, it creates a festive Christmas atmosphere in the room.

This poinsettia cover is also exactly the right packaging for giving a poinsettia as a gift. The advantage: This decoration is quick to crochet, even for beginners (with basic knowledge).
