For the pros among you, I have a pattern here for a scarf using the double knitting technique. It’s very striking because the colors on the opposite sides are exactly mirrored. The motifs that are white on the front are brown on the back (or whatever colors you like to use). You’ll need about 300 m each of a somewhat thinner yarn (yardage 150 m per 50 g) and 3 mm knitting needles.
The scarf has lots of little dots. All motifs are shown in knitting charts.

Here’s the pattern.

Very much in keeping with the autumn weather...
... it’s still warmer, but staying outside longer is more pleasant with wrist warmers :-)

The lace pattern adds the airy flair—the mohair quality still provides the necessary warmth!

A detailed step-by-step description plus an additional chart as a knitting chart
guide you through the knitting process.

The finished wrist warmers are about 26 cm long.

I love Michael Bublé’s songs, and whenever I hear the song “Mrs. Jones,” I picture her wearing this shawl. That
was my inspiration!
You start with just a few stitches, and the shawl gradually grows through side increases.
The lace section is a challenge, as it’s knitted on both the right and wrong sides.
The garter stitch
section provides a welcome break! So this is definitely for knitters with some experience.

Practical, small, and quite the eye-catcher!

At first glance, it’s pretty to look at. But on second glance, the unusual white decorative border around the outer body of this little storage basket really stands out!

With this pattern, you can expand your crochet skills a little with treble crochet as well as 3 / 4 / 5-fold double crochet and post stitches. So it’s not for absolute beginners. But don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging! The stitches are also briefly explained in writing and with the help of a crochet chart in the pattern, so you can get a lovely result here.

Just give it a try! You might be surprised how many techniques you can actually do. You can find the pattern and more info here >>>

If lace shawls are still too easy for you, I’d like to recommend artistic knitting, such as the sister patterns LEANDER and LEANDRA

You can make the shawls from solid-colored lace yarn, but they look especially beautiful with a trendy gradient cake.

The pattern therefore includes a complete electronic knitting chart. There are no abbreviations included. At the beginning, you will find a complete list of all knitting chart symbols used in the pattern.

This pattern is not suitable for beginners.

Everything included:
  • for advanced knitters and pros
  • complete electronic knitting chart
  • designed for a trendy gradient cake with 900 m yardage
These materials you’ll need at home:
  • 1 skein, 900 m, 4-ply from 100Farbspiele “Valentina 2016” (50% PA / 50% cotton)
  • 3.5 mm circular knitting needle (100 cm)
  • 3.5 mm or 4 mm crochet hook
  • scissors
  • yarn needle

A pattern to beat boredom while crocheting - the Ayana half-moon shawl!

--- to the pattern ---

The airy, lightweight Ayana half-moon shawl is crocheted from just over 150 g of sock yarn and is a little challenge, because every row has a different pattern!

The pattern is 18 pages long - there is a crochet chart for all rows, written instructions for all rows (with photos for each row), as well as a short version without photos for printing.

Because of the constantly changing stitch sequences, the shawl is a bit more demanding and therefore not something to crochet “on the side,” and is better suited to somewhat more advanced crocheters.

Dimensions (unblocked/blocked):
Width: 1.00 m / 1.20 m
Depth: 40 cm / 55 cm

You need:

  • Sock yarn in 2 coordinating colors (yardage 210 m / 50 g)95-100 g color 1 - lilac
    55-60 g color 2 - purple
  • 1 crochet hook size 5
  • 1 sewing needle/embroidery needle for weaving in the ends
You should know how to make:
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet
