These two shawls are wonderfully suited for lace yarn or gradient cakes!

For both, use yarn in the length and weight of your choice, along with a matching crochet hook. These are patterns that repeat over and over, so the size can be determined completely flexibly.

You will receive a written pattern with plenty of pictures for each, as well as a crochet chart.

The first one is the triangular shawl "Dream about Summer":

The following stitch types are used:
chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet

And here is the pattern.

The next shawl is the jagged and asymmetrical shawl "Nachtschatten":

The following stitch types are used for this:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, cluster stitches. (You will receive an extra PDF file explaining the cluster stitches)

Get the pattern here and start right away!

Have fun making it! :)

This beautiful Tinuviel lace shawl is a true must-have for anyone who enjoys knitting lace patterns.

Tinuviel is a large, crescent-shaped shawl designed specifically for Schoppels’ “Laceball 100” and “Zauberball 100” lace yarns, but it can also be knitted with any other lace yarn (or even a yarn cake). This beautiful shawl is knitted from the top down; even increases along the edge and within the shawl create its shape.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 800 meters of lace yarn (e.g., Laceball by Schoppel)
  • Circular knitting needle, size 3–4 mm
  • Beads (e.g., rocailles)
  • A piece of very thin wire or dental floss
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Kitchen scale

Required skills:
  • Knit stitches
  • Purl stitches
  • Yarn overs
  • Knit stitches together

If you decide to incorporate beads, you’ll find a short tutorial on how to knit them in later in the pattern.
The shawl pattern is 9 pages long and includes detailed knitting charts (not written instructions!) and a diagram.
Difficulty level: intermediate.

The “Morgentau” crocheted shawl is a beautiful, delicate accessory.
Its gorgeous lace pattern makes it a real eye-catcher, and thanks to its lovely shape, the shawl drapes gently around the shoulders.

Thanks to its semicircular shape, “Morgentau” is very versatile; for example, it can be worn as a scarf, a wrap, or a poncho.

The shawl is worked from top to bottom.

Materials needed:
  • one skein with approx. 1,100 meters of yarn, 3–4-ply, or approx. 210–220 grams of lace yarn
  • Crochet hook size 3.5–4
  • beads for the tassels, if desired
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
Required skills:
  • single crochet
  • chain stitches
  • double crochet
  • slip stitches
  • magic ring

Dimensions upon completion: approx. 175 x 70 cm. Difficulty level: easy.

The crochet pattern for this shawl is 8 pages long and includes a detailed written pattern, as well as professionally designed computer-generated crochet charts and a diagram.

How about socks in a lace pattern:

Relax socks, 6-ply, in a simple stretchy openwork pattern - knitting pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image(s))

Do you know this feeling? Over the course of the day, your feet swell up. And many people can’t wear a tall sock leg because their legs need wide-calf measurements. Then this construction is just right, because it is comfortable and stretchy. The leg can also be rolled down, turning these socks into sneakers.

Leg height as desired. The simple openwork pattern consists of only 2 pattern rows.

The PDF knitting pattern is written for sizes 36 to 43 and illustrated.

General knitting skills required.
We knit with a set of double-pointed needles. Difficulty level: intermediate

We need 1 ball = 150 g (yardage approx. 420 m to 450 m of a 6-ply sock yarn; for the short leg of approx. 10 cm shown here, approx. 70 g used for shoe size 39, Lungauer Sockenwolle by Ferner Wolle (cuddly soft), made of 75% merino, 25% polyamide; gauge approx. 22 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; set of double-pointed needles 3.5–4.0
