Is crocheting an entire Advent wreath too time-consuming for you? No problem! This little crocheted reindeer can also spruce up a store-bought Advent wreath and personalize it. It also makes a great keychain, gift tag, or Christmas tree ornament. It’s super easy to whip up using a bit of leftover yarn (e.g., Catania cotton by Schachenmayr).

Crochet Pattern Advent Calendar Mother Hulda

During the pre-Christmas season, an Advent calendar shortens the wait for Christmas; each day a little door is opened with a surprise behind it.
This Advent calendar isn’t just emptied daily—it’s also filled anew every day, making it a wonderful family calendar. Each day, someone else takes a turn coming up with a surprise. Little messages can also be left, and they don’t cost a thing.

Here you’ll find the pattern and more info from Mother Hulda

After Advent, Mother Hulda can still be used as a wintry door wreath, a decoration for the cold months.
The pattern is written without abbreviations.

This project can be both—it’s actually just an Advent calendar , but with a little tweaking, it can also become a pretty Advent wreath! All it needs are four candles in the center and maybe a few small pine branches for decoration.

The calendar is made from photo cardstock and measures approximately 33.5 x 35.5 x 5.5 cm overall (the space in the center has a diameter of about 17 cm). It’s very easy to make, but it takes time, so it’s best to get started right away.

If you start now, you're guaranteed to finish on time. These pretty little bags could become the Christmas calendar for your children or grandchildren. The bags are quick and easy to crochet from leftover yarn. The pattern also includes a printable template for the stars with the numbers 1 to 24.

You can lovingly decorate and fill each little bag. All together, you can arrange them on a tray or hang them on a clothes hanger. And after Christmas, you can also place the bags on the Easter table—filled with Easter surprises then. And they would be great for the next kids' birthday party, too—each child would get one of these bags filled with little treasures. So many ideas ... now it's your turn!

I hope you have lots of fun making them - Yours, Ina
