Batwing Sweater "Color Stripes"

This batwing sweater is roomy, colorful and cozy, and spices up any boring outfit in
no time at all.
With its wide batwing sleeves, it’s the perfect companion all year round - whether at home,
at the movies or on a walk - it simply always fits!
This project is absolutely suitable for beginners, since the sleeves do not have to be worked separately.
This pattern is designed for sizes S/M and L/XL.
However, the included pattern template and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

Wrist Warmers "Color Stripes"



Fall can arrive in such cheerful colors...
Fun colors and a great pattern define these wrist warmers.
The pattern of the cuffs will make you want more.

These leggings for toddlers are also wonderful to knit while doing something else. They are comfortable, keep you wonderfully warm, and always fit the body perfectly thanks to the knitted pattern. Plus, they grow with the child from approx. 1.5 to 3 years.


The leggings can be made from the pattern by knitters with a little experience. Every step is explained and supplemented with photos.

Knitted poncho/stole, featherlight—very easy

One size—pattern and cut are absolutely suitable for beginners.

A short pattern for a featherlight and very easy-to-knit poncho in one size, made from only 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend (lace) yarns without mohair, since mohair is almost impossible to unravel.

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with thick wool, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. Required yarn amount then approx. 700 g. The stitch count always depends on your individual gauge.

Required knitting skills:
casting on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

Knitted Shirt/Sweater 'ALGARVE'

Two in one pattern:
Sleeveless long shirt, ideal for leggings, and with sleeves, a cotton sweater knitted in a simple lace pattern . Because of the pattern, it results in ONE SIZE for women’s sizes 38–44. Smaller sizes can be worn as “oversized.” Weight gains and losses are therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton; 50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5–3.5; here: knitting needle 3.5, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle, row counter helpful but not absolutely necessary. Gauge according to the ball band: 27 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no additional images are included.

Basic knitting skills are sufficient, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, knit 2 stitches together through the back loop (this is explained).

“A Hint of Something..” – versatile to wear e.g. as a reversible loop / cowl hood / shoulder warmer.

These basic knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together, increase 1 stitch, knitting in the round, binding off.


We need:
just under 50 g Austermann Kid Silk (75% kid mohair, 25% silk 25 g/LL 225 m (hand wash) needle size 3–4; used here: circular knitting needle 3.5, stitch marker, yarn needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, scissors

For knitting beginners, I recommend suitably thin (lace) yarns without mohair.
