Who says knitted pieces can’t be elegant?
Far from it! This long top is the perfect companion for any candlelight dinner or visit to the opera!
The pattern is kept simple, but the special cut and the slit at the back create the effect!

This pattern is designed for sizes 36/38 and 40/42.
However, the included cut and gauge make it possible to work any size!

A detailed chart also guides you through joining the back and front pieces.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Warming... well ;-)
But under a great jacket, it’s an eye-catcher even in winter—at the latest when the jacket comes off!

A beautiful back can delight...
With this cheeky top, you definitely won’t go unnoticed!
The sophisticated decorative trim with the buttons as a connection shows off every back beautifully!

The basic pattern is simple yet sophisticated, and the cut requires no decreases or increases at all...
... so it is also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
To make it clearer, there are 2 crochet charts in the pattern.
In addition, a diagram helps you through the crochet process step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the top can be easily adapted to any size
.

The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Sporty and elegant:

Cardigan Gita - sizes 36 to 42, one size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A knitted lightweight piece for all seasons – whether worn over or underneath – simple, with a striking collar area. Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a bit of care, so the difficulty level is: medium. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-accurate instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the jacket’s relaxed shape and stretchiness, one stitch more or less is not all that important. If there are larger gauge deviations, please choose larger or smaller knitting needles. The pattern does not include a knitting tutorial, but it does include relevant link tips.

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the ball band: needle size 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage; alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair or KidSilk (Adriafil) – in each case the same amount for the total back length knitted here of approx. 71 cm. This material is knitted with a double strand. Additional alternative yarns are listed in the pattern.

Used here: knitting needle size 6.0, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch markers, if needed, row counter.

Cozy and warm:

.. and it is quick and easy to knit in bulky yarns. It also works well under an outdoor jacket ;-)

The brief PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery and is described over 6 pages in such a way that the lovely piece can be adapted to your individual measurements.

Material used here:
Austermann Softy (98% merino, 2% PAM) – hand wash, 50 g = 53 m LL, - knitting needles 10.0 to 12.0 – here circular needle size 10, at least 80 cm cable length. Gauge according to ball band: 8 sts = 10 cm

  • Size XS/S 500 g
  • Size M       550 g
  • Size L        600 g
  • Size XL/XXL    700 g
Stitch marker, measuring tape, scissors, a second circular needle (or thread stitches onto a contrasting yarn) to place stitches on hold, needle for weaving in ends.

Any desired yarns with a suitable needle size are possible.

General knitting skills as well as knitting in rows and rounds and picking up stitches (= knitting them on) are sufficient. A knitting course is not included, but link tips are.

Crochet Pattern: Raglan Cardigan/Jacket XS/S/M/L/XL

This beautiful jacket is crocheted from the top down (raglan).

Perfect for the cooler fall days just around the corner. Wear it outdoors in slightly cool temperatures or in the office on those really chilly days.
The measurements for this cardigan aren’t just rigidly based on standard sizes. Every body is unique. Since we crochet the cardigan from the top down, it can be customized to fit you perfectly.

Materials
  • ONline Cora Linie 20 NS 4-5
  • Colors: stone gray (approx. 500 g), black (approx. 200 g), and white (approx. 50 g)
  • Crochet hook size 5.0 (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
  • Buttons (6 or as desired)
Stitches used
  • chain stitch
  • turning chain
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • slip stitch
  • crab stitch
I’ve described everything in great detail in my pattern and have tried my best to explain each technique
clearly. In the pattern, I’ve crocheted and illustrated size L (40/42).
Even beginners can give this jacket a try. And if you run into any problems, I’d be happy to help.
