Dear users, dear authors,
There’s plenty of room in this thread for lots of cute hats for kids and babies . Grab them and get started. Fall is getting chilly, and winter will be frosty .
Mod Tip: Winter is supposed to be especially cold this year. So it’s definitely a good idea to have plenty of warm clothes for babies , kids , women , and men .

@Authors:
2–3 patterns per author is enough. Don’t forget to include a link, a picture, and the usual information.

This baby hat is
knitted from 100 g Lang Jawoll Magic using a set of double-pointed needles,
it naturally looks best in gradient yarn.

The size is for 40-44 cm

The pattern is simple and easy to understand!

Knitting skills needed:
> casting on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles,
> knit stitches
> purl stitches
> knitting stitches together
> yarn overs
here is the pattern for itBaby hat with zigzag pattern

For knitters who don't really like a set of double-pointed needles, here is a model,
worked back and forth in rows,
there are no decreases either; everything is knitted straight

This size is for 48-52 cm,

The knitting requirements are the same as for the model above,
and here is the pattern: Children's hat

Inspired by the fairy tale of Rapunzel, this baby hat has braids that run along its entire length. Not very easy to knit, because you have two colors in every round and also have to pay attention to the braids. But for experts, it’s a worthwhile project!

Here’s the pattern.

The yarn used has 150 m per 50 g; you need 1 skein of each color, plus 4 mm knitting needles. The pattern is available in 3 different sizes.

The world needs hooded scarves

They already existed when we were kids, and there’s a good reason for that. A hat couldn’t be more practical or safer.

The Schlupp hooded scarf can be made to fit any head and crocheted quickly. Just pull it over your head, and there’s nowhere left for a cold draft to get in.

Schlupp fits perfectly in any weather.

Get the simple crochet pattern for the Schlupp hooded scarf here and make practical hooded scarves for your whole family.

A pattern that's fun to knit. Worked with a set of double-pointed needles, this hat for babies is finished quickly.

In the pattern, the stitch pattern as well as the increases and decreases are explained in detail for 8 sizes from 30 to 55 cm.

For the smaller sizes, 50 g is enough, and with stripes you can also make good use of your leftover yarn.

Rainbow Baby Hat & Scarf in a 3D Technique. This baby set (hat and scarf) is something truly special. Not only does it have a visual 3D effect, but it’s also crocheted using a 3D technique —it sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite simple and quick to crochet.

Even beginners will be able to master this with the very thorough and detailed pattern . Numerous step-by-step photos and crochet charts show how the third dimension comes to life on the hook.
Materials:
  • Rainbow gradient yarn – Supersoft /LL 282m/100g
  • Crochet hook size 4.0

There are lots of patterns for children in my shop, especially hats. I’d like to show you a few of them here:

Beanie AUTUMN JOY

This hat is a great children’s hat, because the stripes let you create many color combinations. The beanie is also started from the brim, so you can easily adapt it to any head circumference. You can also use many yarn weights and types of yarn, so you can crochet it for winter as well as for fall and spring.
--> Get the pattern here: Crochet Beanie AUTUMN JOY

Square Hat HAPPINESS

This hat is very popular with children because it’s so cheerfully colorful. It’s ideal for using up leftover yarn. The hat also doesn’t require any stitch increases or decreases, so even beginners can make it easily. And it can be adapted to any head circumference without any trouble.
--> Get the pattern here: Square Hat HAPPINESS

Hat / Beanie LITTLE PRINCESS

With this crochet pattern you can crochet either a hat or a beanie. It’s especially suitable for girls, because little princesses in particular love the beads. This hat can also be adapted easily to any head circumference and is a nice beginner project too.

A cute hat for mischievous little rascals: EULENSPIEGEL

Till Eulenspiegel was a prankster who, according to legend, was born around 1300. His funny stories still bring a smile to people’s faces today. Since the cable pattern is slightly reminiscent of owls, the hat was named after him during the test knit.

And just like its namesake Till, the hat is very versatile. The colorful version, knitted from Wollmeise scraps, reminds me a bit of a jester, while the gray version has a classic, elegant look. You can knit the hat with beads or without. Both versions are included in the pattern as separate knitting charts.

With your purchase, you’ll receive 2 PDF patterns, each 5 pages long. The patterns are labeled “Adult” and “Child.”

What skills do you need?
  • Cast on
  • knit stitch and purl stitch
  • Cabling
  • Knitting with a set of double-pointed needles
The basic techniques listed are not explained separately in the pattern.

Here’s what’s included:
  • Pattern as a PDF file
  • Pattern for adult size
  • Pattern for child size
Here are the materials you’ll need at home:
  • Drops Cotton Merino (52% wool / 48% cotton), 120 m per 50 g, in colors 01 Off White and 20 Light Grey
  • Alternatively: 480 m Wollmeise Twin (80% wool / 20% polyamide) in various colors
  • Alternatively: 480 m Wollmeise Pure (80% wool) in various colors
  • 2 sets of 4 mm double-pointed needles
  • Or 1 4 mm circular needle (40 cm)
  • Cable needle
  • if needed, a 0.75–1 mm crochet hook
  • If needed: 4.5 mm silver-lined seed beads (48 pieces)
  • 6 stitch markers
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle

And if those little rascals are even cuter, then they absolutely need a CUPCAKE HAT

This pattern is written for toddlers ages 1 and up.

Just as colorful as the cupcakes in the store, there are endless possibilities for combining colors here. Multicolor yarns can also be used.

This pattern is ideal for small to medium amounts of leftover yarn in 4–5 colors, but you can also use the small skeins of MyBoshi’s Favorite Colors No. 2.

The hat can be made in two versions. If you consider yourself a beginner, skip the embellishment in the final step. If you skip the embellishment, you’ll of course only need 4 of the 5 colors.

What skills do you need?
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • half double crochet
  • double crochet
  • Post stitches
Optional:
  • picots
  • Treble crochets
Here's what's included:
  • written pattern
  • Suitable for beginners
  • Head circumference 42 cm – 50 cm
Here’s what you’ll need at home:
  • MyBoshi Favorite Yarn No. 2 (85% cotton / 15% kapok), 50g/100m per skein, or matching leftover yarn in the colors Chili Red / White / Ochre / Walnut / Candy Purple
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Wool needle
  • Some stuffing for the cherry
