Dear users, dear authors,
Bobbels and gradient yarns are super popular right now. If you want to give your new favorite design an extra kick, you should give it a try. Many of you have already done that anyway, or so it seems to me. :-)
In this thread you’ll find designs that look especially good when made with Bobbels and gradient yarn.
Shop now.

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual information.

This scarf is especially well suited for sock yarns with color gradients. It is knitted diagonally, which really brings out the different colors.

You can find the pattern here.

The pattern is simple—though not for absolute beginners, because a lace pattern is included too. You can knit the scarf in any length and width you like.

Yarns with long color gradients look great in large-scale projects, such as a wide, rectangular stole.

You can find the pattern here.

This shawl is knitted in brioche stitch, which I personally find very relaxing. Yarn usage depends on the desired length—you can really stop at any time if you think it’s enough.

Hats can also look great in gradient yarn. This one has a delicate lace pattern and is knitted from sock yarn. The pattern is available in two sizes. It’s written out round by round and also shown in a knitting chart.

You can find it here.

This beautiful triangular shawl—perfect for snuggling up and feeling cozy—can be crocheted using one gradient yarn cake (800 m). The shawl drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. The pattern is very simple and beginner-friendly.

The shawl measures approx. 190 cm in length and approx. 90 cm in height. Since the pattern is very simple and repeats every 2 rows, the shawl can be made in any size you like.

With two cleverly placed buttons, this shawl is a true transformation artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there’s no need to work in buttonholes - so the buttons can be fastened at any
desired spot - creating a wide variety of ways to wear it!

Thanks to the lace pattern and the beautiful soft wool, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. A true comfort piece!

The pattern is very easy to crochet - making it absolutely suitable for beginners.

This gorgeous “Tausendschön” crochet shawl really comes into its own when made with a yarn cake or gradient yarn.

Thanks to its shape and size, this beautiful shawl is incredibly versatile—whether as a cozy wrap or even as a poncho for cooler fall days.

The little flowers—which gave the crochet shawl its name—are crocheted right into the design and are the highlight! But even without the flowers, the shawl looks great thanks to its texture and is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher.

The shawl can be crocheted using many different yarn weights. The size is also fully adjustable.

What you’ll need:
  • approx. 1,500 meters of 3- to 4-ply yarn (e.g., lace yarn, a gradient yarn cake, or sock yarn)
  • Crochet hook size 3–4
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Kitchen scale (to calculate how much yarn you’ll use)
  • A little spray starch, if needed
What you need to know:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitches
  • Double crochet
  • Working stitches together
A photo tutorial shows how to crochet the flowers.

The shawl crochet pattern includes:

  • 12 pages of instructions!
  • Written pattern explained stitch by stitch
  • Crochet charts
  • Schematic diagram
  • Photo tutorial
  • Difficulty level: easy.
Finished dimensions: approx. 184 × 90 cm (but can also be made smaller or larger).
