My “frustration of the day”

Sorry, but I just need to vent a little, and there’s no one better to do it with than you lovely people, who I’m sure can relate to how I’m feeling.
I’m in the middle of knitting a sweater out of cozy brown wool, and I’ve already finished—and unraveled—three (!) sleeves. This darn thing just won’t cooperate with me! I’m not very experienced at knitting, so figuring out the math is hard for me.
The sweater has cut-on sleeves that are quite wide at the top. Once I decreased too quickly, so my puff sleeves ended up slipping down too far; then I decreased too slowly and it got too long and too wide; this time the pattern just didn’t work out… grrr…
Now it’s sitting all alone in the UFO box until I’ve calmed down…
well, I’ve let off some steam now—thanks for your patience (if you’ve stuck with me this far ;) )
