White and Black + Gray + Red + Purple // start crafting now

Dear users, dear designers,
usually in life nothing is just white or just black; there are shades of gray and, of course, plenty of splashes of color. If you like, you can add something red. Red is on trend and is as eye-catching as it is lively. If you don’t like it too bright, you might try a Bordeaux red / wine red; it will be quite popular in 2018. This may also extend to violet, purple, and purple. Everyone is sure to find a suitable color for yarn / fabric / photo cardstock.
Start crafting now.

@Designers,
2-3 patterns are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual info.

When the holidays arrive, Barbie likes to dress up, too. In a sparkling little black dress with a fringed hem and matching hat, she looks great anywhere. A silver clutch completes the outfit.
To crochet this ensemble, you’ll need black-and-silver leftover yarn (e.g. Gründl: Glitter), some black fringe yarn and silver yarn, as well as a 2 mm crochet hook.
The dress is very easy and also suitable for beginners.

Women and men can never have enough hats!
The dreary season comes faster than you think, so why not counter it with colors and patterns?

The hat with the fold-up brim is actually kept simple; the Norwegian pattern livens the whole thing up.

Whether you work with the Fair Isle technique or duplicate stitch is a matter of taste.
I always recommend—when knitting in the round—using duplicate stitch .
Duplicate stitch is explained in detail and illustrated in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern with more details...

Trachten season is just around the corner again—as is fall!
So sometimes you just need a little something to wear over a dirndl...
If you’re not so fond of the “traditional” look, simply change the buttons.

This pattern is designed for size 140 - 148.
However, the included cut and gauge make it possible to make any size!

Who says knitted pieces can’t be elegant?
Far from it! This long top is the perfect companion for any candlelit dinner or trip to the opera!
The pattern is kept simple, but the unique cut and the slit at the back make all the difference!

This pattern is designed for sizes 36/38 and 40/42 .
However, the included schematic and gauge make it possible to knit any size!

A detailed chart also guides you through joining the back and front pieces.

Anyone who has children knows that they love to dress up, which is why many kids’ rooms have a dress-up box with Mom’s old skirts and scarves, Dad’s out-of-fashion hat and tie, carnival costumes… Masks make a costume especially quick and effective, let you slip into a role in seconds, and therefore shouldn’t be missing from any dress-up box.

This mask is also especially quick to make – just print it out, cut it out, punch holes, tie on elastic, and the game can begin!

Cardigan/Long Knitted Jacket MARGIT Sizes 38 to 46 OneSize - Oversize

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This comfortable, cozy knitted piece in an oversized style weighs only approx. 275 g with the yarns used here, so it is feather-light. Both stitch patterns used are absolutely easy. The collar shaping requires a little attention. The length is variable.

The model shown is knitted with double strand and needle size 6.0 using 175 g KidSilk by Austermann plus100 g Merino Lace by Austermann. Alternatively, yarns can be chosen with a needle size suitable for the yarn that roughly correspond to a gauge of 17 sts = approx. 10 cm with 6.0 knitting needles, e.g. approx. 450 g Dolce Mohair (Mondial) - knitted with a single strand. Further yarn alternatives - also without mohair - are listed in the pattern. Stitch markers highly recommended.

The illustrated PDF pattern with stitch-by-stitch and row-by-row instructions is based on the gauge mentioned above. Due to the casual shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not so crucial. If there are larger deviations in gauge, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include relevant link tips.

These red leggings with white stripes are perfect for children in the cooler months. They’re quick and easy to knit.

What makes them special: They’re knitted in one piece from top to bottom - entirely with a circular needle! If you like, you can of course also use a set of double-pointed needles for the legs.

I used a yarn with 65% virgin wool and 35% alpaca here. But any sock yarn can also be used for this.

The special knitting pattern gives these leggings a great fit in every size - and they grow with the child for a while! The pattern describes size 86 - 98 for children aged 1.5 to 3 years.
