Halloween - that's the perfect time to curl up with spooky and ghost stories. What could be more fitting than this fun ghost bookmark? You can also use it as wall decor. Glued onto black construction paper, it also makes a great motif for a Halloween party invitation.
The little ghost is super easy to crochet. You only need a bit of leftover yarn in white and black.

What would Halloween be without creepy spiders? This one is very easy to crochet. Depending on the thickness of the yarn, it will vary in size. For the legs, you'll also need some pipe cleaner wire.
The pattern is available for free here!

Crochet Pattern: Halloween Pumpkin Bag for Kids

Trick or Treat

It’s almost that time of year again. Our kids will be dressing up and going trick-or-treating. This beautiful bag is the perfect companion for our kids on Halloween. It lets them quickly stow away all the candy they’ve collected. The bag measures approximately 19 cm wide and 16.0 cm tall. The size can also be adjusted depending on the yarn and hook size used. I’ve explained everything step by step and included plenty of pictures. This pattern also includes a “Little Crochet Guide.” Even beginners will be able to follow these instructions successfully.

Materials
  • Catania by Schachenmayr, 125 m/50 g, hook size 2.5–3.5 (orange and teal/green, black): orange (60 g) / dark green (20 g), very little black
  • Crochet hook size 4.0 (or as desired)
  • Crochet hook size 2.5
  • Sewing needle
  • Marker
  • Scissors
What you should know
  • chain stitch
  • slip stitch
  • single crochet
  • increases and decreases
  • crocheting in rounds and rows
  • simple sewing on

For a change, here’s a cute Halloween decoration instead of a spooky one: the pumpkin girl isn’t afraid of witches and ghosts, but dances carefree around her pumpkin.
She’s about 12 cm tall, and her arms and legs can be moved into different positions (thanks to the pipe cleaner wire they’re crocheted around). You’ll need leftover cotton yarn (Catania) in skin tone, brown, and orange, some pipe cleaner wire, stuffing, and mohair yarn for the hair.
Only single crochet stitches are used.

This little witch (actually a finger puppet) is perfect for Halloween decoration! Stick her in the bouquet you want to bring to the Halloween party or hang her on a gift parcel! After Halloween, the children can play with her.
You can whip her up in no time using a few bits of leftover yarn. Basic crochet skills are all you need.

This little bat isn’t hard to crochet at all! You can hang several of them on a string of lights. Then the little vampires with glowing eyes will be flitting through the air! A beautifully spooky Halloween decoration!
You can also hang these little bloodsuckers upside down from a mobile star, which looks great too!
The pattern is simple and suitable even for beginner crocheters.
All you need is a few black and gray cotton yarn scraps, a string of lights, or a mobile star.
