Crocheted table runners don't have to be old-fashioned,
here's an example :-)
Table runner "Hearts"
even my 16-year-old son likes this one, and that’s saying something! :-D

As always, the pattern is described in detail and includes plenty of pictures,
in an additional PDF, which is of course included,
you'll find explanations and the charts!

Because of the detailed instructions, the pattern is of course also suitable for beginners!

I crocheted the runner with Schachenmayr Catania Originals and a 3.5 crochet hook,
you'll find the exact yarn quantity in the pattern!

Have fun crocheting

Pumpkins are simply part of fall decor! The little pumpkin girl is dressed in warm fall colors: she wears a brown top, and orange shoes, skirt, and hat. You can crochet the pumpkin in any size you like. The crochet pattern explains exactly how. It uses only a small amount of yarn, so it’s great for using up leftovers.
You can find the pattern here!

For all you knitters, there's a new blog post:
Casting On Stitches with a Set of Double-Pointed Needles - Trick

As a supplement to my sock-knitting patterns/tutorials or various hat patterns, I have a trick for everyone who wants to cast on stitches with a set of double-pointed needles and distribute them evenly over 4 needles so the stitches don't get twisted:

Here's the blog post: Casting On Stitches with a Set of Double-Pointed Needles - Trick

Do you know this? The cast-on stitches need to be distributed over 4 needles on a set of double-pointed needles. The problem: the individual needles somehow hang down, dangle, twist, and get tangled up—which can definitely be annoying. The result is often twisted stitches.
The solution: a special cast-on for double-pointed needles.

I hope my technique makes casting on with a set of double-pointed needles more relaxed. I'd be happy to receive a comment on the blog or directly on the video.

These doll pants are perfect for using up leftover yarn. The knitting pattern is essentially a basic pattern. If you make the pant legs shorter, they become summer pants. As shown here, they’re designed for fall or winter.
Why not knit a doll’s wardrobe for Christmas? This is a great place to start.
My knitting pattern doesn’t use abbreviations but is clearly explained in plain language. So don’t hesitate.
Knitting Pattern for Doll Pants for 28–30 cm Dolls

These pants fit the Sasha Morgenthaler baby doll as well as the Corolle (28–30 cm). Materials: leftover yarn, here in yellow, white, purple, and pink, and two 3.0 needles

Fall can come...
With this shrug, you'll be prepared for any weather!
The wonderful textured pattern - 2 different crochet patterns alternate - invites you to cuddle up.

The cut of the soul warmer comes entirely without decreases or increases...
... making it absolutely recommended for beginners too!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, 2 crochet charts are included in the pattern.
In addition, 3 schematics help you through the crochet process - step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can be very easily adjusted to any size.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

New Knitting Blog:
Length of the Tail When Casting On Stitches with the Long-Tail Cast-On

There are various cast-on techniques in knitting; one type is, for example, the so-called "long-tail cast-on." For this, you need a longer tail before you start casting on stitches.

Since beginning knitters often ask me how long the tail needs to be when casting on stitches with the long-tail cast-on, I wrote the blog mentioned above.

In the fall, when the weather gets cooler, we spend more time indoors again—perhaps with a good book. If you enjoy reading ghost stories, then this bookmark is just right for you! You can also use it as a Halloween decoration.
It’s very easy to crochet, and you only need a few scraps of yarn.

The wind in late summer is getting cooler again, so it’s time to wear scarves and crochet them.
Brand new in my shop for this: this checked model; with its checks, it’s a timeless classic and always modern.

  • Crochet hooks in sizes 2.5 and 4
  • Scissors
  • thick needle
  • Cardboard (for the tassels)
The scarf shown is 180 cm long and 32 cm wide; the size can also be easily adjusted.

crocheted with
  • chain stitches

The pattern is written without abbreviations and is easy to follow because
many pictures support the individual work steps.

Kiki, the squirrel with the bushy tail, is already busily stocking up on nuts and acorns for the long winter. Place her in a bowl of walnuts and you’ll have a cute fall decoration!

To crochet this, you’ll need about 20 g of cotton yarn (Catania by Schachenmayr) and 20 g of fringed yarn (Peppina by Lana Grossa), a scrap of black yarn, sewing thread, safety eyes, and craft batting.
Kiki is crocheted entirely using single crochet stitches. Crocheting with the fringed yarn isn’t that hard either, because with the specified yarn, you can just barely make out the stitches. The pattern for the acorns is included as well.

These toddler leggings made from cozy wool are just the thing for the cooler months. They’re comfortable, have a great fit, and can even grow with your child for about 2 years.

What makes them ideal and special:
They are knitted in one piece from top to bottom and therefore have no seams, apart from the tiny bit at the gusset. They can also be knitted entirely with circular needles.

Difficulty level: medium - you should already have basic knitting skills.

The pattern describes all the steps in detail, mostly with photos, making it easy to follow.
