For girls, young ladies & anyone who would like to have a knitted dress like this:

Knitting pattern for the SOFTY knitted dress without sleeves - all sizes - all yarns

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

..is quick and easy to knit in bulky yarns and keeps you wonderfully warm. It also works well under an outdoor jacket ;-)

The short PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery and is described over 6 pages so that this lovely piece can be adapted to your individual measurements.

Materials used here:
Austermann Softy (98% merino, 2% PAM) – hand wash, 50 g = 53 m yardage, -knitting needle size 10.0 to 12.0 – here circular knitting needle size 10, at least 80 cm cable length. Gauge according to the ball band: 8 sts = 10 cm

  • Size XS/S 500 g
  • Size M       550 g
  • Size L        600 g
  • Size XL/XXL    700 g
Stitch marker, measuring tape, scissors, a second circular knitting needle (or thread stitches onto a contrasting yarn) for putting the stitches on hold, needle for weaving in ends.

Any yarns of your choice with a suitable needle size are possible.

General knitting skills as well as knitting in rows and rounds and picking up stitches (= knitting on) are sufficient. A knitting course is not included, but helpful link tips are.

Using this pattern, you can crochet a pretty skirt (any size). The comfortable elastic is worked directly into the waistband as you crochet, making it easier to put on and take off.
  • This pattern is ideal for using up leftover yarn.
  • The amount of yarn needed varies depending on the size of the skirt. I crocheted this skirt for my 4-year-old daughter and used a total of 130 g of yarn.
Crochet hooks in sizes 3 and 4.
The pattern includes detailed photos and is suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills.

Since it’s going to get a bit cooler again soon, here’s a beautiful children’s hat
with a zigzag pattern.

You’ll need 100 gr of Lang Jawoll Magic or another nice yarn with
a yardage of 400m/100gr, and size 3–3.5 knitting needles.

If you don’t like working with a set of double-pointed needles, this is the perfect hat for you,
as it’s knitted in back-and-forth rows.

The stitch pattern is explained very clearly in the pattern, and pictures are included as well.

Required knitting skills:
> Casting on
> Knit stitches
> Yarn overs
> Knitting stitches together
> Slip, slip, knit
> Binding off

Here is the pattern:

A simply made girls' cardigan — but really jazzed up by the trim!
This vest has no button band at all — so it is worn open.

This pattern is designed for size 116-122.
However, the included cut and gauge make it easy to make any size!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A warm girls' vest to throw on in the evening - and also very pretty over a dirndl.
The diamond pattern is sophisticated, yet easy to work.
And if you don't like the traditional costume look so much - just change the buttons.

This pattern is designed for size 116-122.
However, the included template and gauge make it possible to make any size!

And here is the pattern and more details...

Our little girls want to be dressed fashionably too...
... and we want that too :-)

Cheerful colors and a sophisticated pattern make this soul warmer a MUST HAVE!
Knitted in the right quality, this shrug can be worn in any season and for any occasion.

The finished shrug in the product image shows children’s size 98.
However, the pattern is designed for sizes 50 - 152!

A precise cut as well as 2 detailed diagrams make the knitting process easier.
You will also find size charts for ages 0 - 12 years in the pattern.
Gauge is included as always - for any adaptations.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

This one in these colors is for very little girls:

Simple Baby Crochet Shoes - crochet pattern incl. knitting pattern

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

..though in other colors, of course, they’re also for very little boys..

This crochet pattern is illustrated.

Basic crochet skills are sufficient.

We need:
approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g, for (knitting) needle size 4.0–5.0; used here: crochet hook 4.5; thinner yarn can also be used - the specified measurements are what matters (check gauge), leftover yarn for the bows or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, tape measure, scissors

Included in the download:
in addition to the detailed pattern, a short crochet pattern (sketch) as well as a short pattern for the knitted version.
