The festive egg cozies—the angel, St. Nicholas, and snowman—make a great table decoration even without eggs. You can crochet them very quickly using just a few bits of leftover yarn, and then you’ll always have a nice little gift on hand during Advent.

Do you already know what colors your Christmas tree will have this year? Whether in traditional red and gold, according to the latest trend, or in your current favorite color – with these Christmas tree ornaments you can decorate your tree however you like: only the shape is fixed, while the color is entirely up to you.

The ornaments are made of photo cardstock, measure approx. 7 x 8.5 x 8 cm, and are easy to make. However, the glitter liner takes several hours to dry, so you should start crafting them in good time.

Even if it’s hard to believe, Christmas is getting closer and closer.

Crochet pattern for Christmas decoration / star / flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

But not just for Christmas—with different yarn, these “flowers” are suitable for the whole year.

The PDF pattern is richly illustrated.

All you need is a small amount of leftover yarn, approx. 10 g of metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, any yarn you like can also be used with a suitable crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn. In addition, crochet hook size 2.5, scissors, and a yarn needle are needed here.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Scandinavian Christmas!! ZONKO the house gnome is an indispensable little helper during the Christmas season, decorating the house, wrapping the presents, baking the cookies, and getting into all kinds of mischief on the side! The rest of the time, he makes himself comfortable in boxes and flowerpots.

  • Set of double-pointed needles size 2.5
