Dear users, dear authors,
What are you working on right now?
Have you already started preparing for Halloween, Advent, or Christmas? Let me know.
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Have fun on Crazypatterns and everywhere else, too. :-)
Hi Josefa,
yesss—the first socks are already finished :-)—one pair in size 44 and one pair in size 39.
But I still need a few more on the side. You can’t start early enough so you don’t get too stressed out during Advent, right!
Best, Traudelina
I’m currently working on fall, Halloween, and Christmas all at once, though the Christmas theme is definitely taking center stage. Even though it feels like it’s still a long way off, experience has taught me that time flies by very quickly. Luckily, I’ve got plenty of Christmas ideas ready this year, including decorations, gift wrapping, and at least one Christmas card :-).
I’ve been meaning to start on Christmas for ages, but I’m still crocheting my fall and winter projects. Where does the time always go? I hope to finish my polar bears in a week, and then I’ll definitely get started on Christmas. I already have so many ideas in my head—enough to last several years.
I’m just like most people here. My head is full of ideas for Christmas, but I’m still stuck in autumn. Time to step it up! But at least I’ve already finished an embroidered Christmas tablecloth. I’d actually like to make some napkins to go with it. We’ll see if I get around to it...
I was on vacation and actually managed to catch up on some backlog.
Now I’m hard at work finishing my dad’s birthday gift. He’s getting a hooded vest with a zipper. I just need to sew on the zipper, attach the hood, knit the edging, and finish the pocket lining.
And on the side, I’m finishing up the fall decorations and a fall shawl. I’m a little behind on that, but everything’s in the final stages. I’ve already finished the Halloween project, though. Now that I’m back at the computer, I just need to write up the pattern.
And then I’ll start (if everything goes according to plan, in the last week of September) on the Christmas projects.
Since people often ask for the cat designs again—and I can make them in my sleep—that’ll go quickly.
For the shawl for my mom, I still need to come up with a stitch pattern. But I already have the yarn at home in her favorite colors. And I’m always most excited about new projects.
