Dear users, dear authors,
the golden autumn is currently more gray, gloomy, and rainy than golden, but don’t let that spoil your mood.
Start crafting now.

Mod tip: How about nicje’s Goldzauber pattern to help Indian summer / those golden autumn days along a bit?

Crochet pattern for the “Goldzauber” jacket - all sizes

@Authors,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual info.

The weather is pretty autumnal right now, and even though the leaves are still quite green, some are already showing the first signs of changing color. With this autumn wreath you can welcome Indian summer and make the gray days that follow a little easier to bear.

The wreath is made of photo cardstock (colored cardstock) and tracing paper, measures approximately 46 x 46 cm, and is easy to make. Aside from being comfortable using a craft knife, no special skills are required.

A knitting pattern for a shawl, made for the golden days of autumn. Golden brown and made from soft merino wool, it keeps you warm and glows in the most beautiful fall colors. The shawl is actually a rectangular stole that is knitted lengthwise. It has an elegant lace and cable pattern and looks simply stunning.

You can find the pattern here.

Thanksgiving is traditionally celebrated in the fall. In a religious sense, people thank God for the gifts of the harvest, which still help ensure survival through the winter today. In a non-religious sense, people are just as happy about nature’s treasures, which often taste very good. This crocheted infinity scarf is inspired by that.

It’s easy to crochet, that much I can reveal. You can crochet it in any length you like, and you can also adjust the width to suit your personal preferences, and it keeps your neck wonderfully warm on cool fall days.

How about a practical piece like this:

A Touch of Something.. Reversible Loop/hooded scarf - one size - easy to knit

One size – easy to knit.

The PDF pattern includes pictures from the image gallery.

These basic knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knit 2 stitches together, increase 1 stitch, knitting in the round, binding off.

We need:
just under 50 g Austermann Kid Silk (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 25 g/225 m yardage (hand wash) needle size 3–4;
used here: 3.5 mm circular knitting needle, stitch marker, yarn needle for weaving in ends, tape measure, scissors

For knitting beginners, I recommend suitably thin (lace) yarns with a comparable yardage without mohair.

A poncho is a wonderful way to style the transition during Indian summer!

A wonderfully light poncho—but still very warm thanks to the camel hair—is waiting for you here!
Of course, it looks just as beautiful in other yarn qualities!

The technique is basically kept simple—but the small cable border adds the finishing touch!
The snowmen (or whatever you like) worked in with bead technique also look very nice and at the same time serve to add weight, ensuring a clean drape.

This pattern is designed for sizes 38/40.
However, the included schematic and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

Detailed instructions guide you through the entire knitting process.

And here is the pattern and more details...

Loose, colorful, and cozy, this batwing sweater comes along and brightens up any boring outfit in
no time at all!
With its wide batwing sleeves, it’s the perfect companion all year round—whether at home,
at the movies, or on a walk—it simply always fits!

This project is absolutely suitable for beginners , since the sleeves do not need to be worked separately.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M and L/XL.
The included schematic and the gauge make it possible, however, to work any size!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Indian summer is the ideal time for this
striped short-sleeved cotton cardigan - knitting pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

With this trendy striped short-sleeved cotton cardigan, you'll be well prepared for these days. And if it gets a bit cooler, you can also wear a thin turtleneck underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated on 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: intermediate

We need
in total for sizes S to L approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm. Color distribution as desired, here:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g
  • Dark green 150 g
  • Light green 100 g
Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each skein.

Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable to hold the stitches, stitch markers and row counter (not absolutely necessary), pins for blocking, tape measure, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

A loose and easy-to-crochet lace pattern
+
1 bobbel in a gorgeous color combination
+
two cleverly placed buttons
= a cuddly soft, dreamily beautiful feel-good shawl that can be worn in many situations and rediscovered again and again!

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this shawl is a true
quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there is
no need to work in buttonholes - so the buttons can be fastened in any
desired spot - creating a huge variety of ways to wear it!

Thanks to the lace pattern and the lovely soft yarn, the shawl is wonderfully airy and soft. A true comfort for the soul!

Here is the pattern

A Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton,
50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 02 was used for the crocheted shawl.

The shawl is approx. 144 cm long / approx. 36 cm high. Of course, the shawl can
be made in any size you like (with correspondingly more or less
yarn).

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart, and step-by-step photos.

In fall, I always love bright colors, because when nature gets a bit foggy and gloomy, they can really lift your spirits. Here I'd like to show you a few of my cheerfully colorful and nicely warming hat patterns.

Since all the hats are worked with a ribbed brim, they can easily be adjusted to any head circumference, so the hats can be crocheted for children and adults. Yarn in different weights can also be used. Only with the square hat does the result look nicer with thinner yarn.

All the patterns are also easy for beginners to follow, as they contain lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations.

But now, on to the hats:

--> To the crochet pattern for the "Little Princess" hat / beanie

--> To the crochet pattern for the "Autumn Joy" beanie

--> To the crochet pattern for the colorful square hat

Hold on to the memory of summer while still taking the changing temperatures into account - a soft shawl that warms your shoulders is perfect for that.

You can find the pattern here.

This shawl is really easy to knit. You can use sock yarn, as with the shawl shown, but you can also use any other yarn, and you simply keep knitting until the shawl reaches the desired size.
