about 450 g total for
sizes S to L of Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm; color distribution as desired. Used here: size 3.5 knitting needles, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable for putting stitches on hold, stitch markers and row counter (not absolutely required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
