This hat is easy to knit on the go, too:

Hat knitting pattern, all sizes - ideal for beginners too

Quick and very easy
– well suited for beginners, since there are no increases or decreases to knit. A matching scarf in the same style completes the outfit for cool days.

The pattern is detailed, with pictures for all stitches used, and is written for the material listed below for head circumferences from 50 cm to 60 cm. It also explains how to recalculate the gauge so that it can also be knitted with other yarn weights and in all sizes .

Material:
200 g merino yarn, Schulana Capo Nord used here, 100% merino, 100 g – 90 m yardage, needle size 7–9, size 8.0 knitting needles used here.
Note: Mohair yarns are not recommended for beginners, because the mohair fibers catch and can hardly be unraveled, so they are not forgiving of mistakes. Otherwise, you can use just about any yarn with the appropriate needle size.

You can find the pattern here (click me).
