Dots can also be found on the fly agaric. You can crochet these two from the Flower Children collection as fall decorations. Aren't they cute? The large mushroom is 15 cm tall, the small one about 9 cm. For the large mushroom, you'll also need a bit of chenille wire to make the limbs movable.

With a top underneath this trendy, comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeved cardigan, you’ll always be wonderfully dressed. And when it’s a bit cooler, a thin turtleneck can also be worn underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:

Difficulty level: medium

We need
for the sizes S to L in total approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl), 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5 – 3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm with the following color distribution:

  • Blue 100 g
  • White 100 g

  • Light green 100 g
Depending on the size, more or less leftover yarn will remain from each skein.

Used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable to put stitches on hold, stitch marker and row counter (not absolutely required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.

POTZBLITZ, what a shawl! Different stripe sequences in exciting colors, plus a really zigzaggy design and crocheted-on bobbles (you can leave them out too ;-)) will spice up any winter wardrobe! The shawl is not suitable for beginners, but anyone with a bit of knitting experience can manage it. The pattern is very detailed and includes many pictures that will guide you safely through the tricky parts.
By the way: As with all my patterns, there’s no need to read everything in advance. Just follow the steps page by page, and it’ll work out.

Curious? You can find more info about POTZBLITZ here: CLICK!

Lots of little dots are knitted into this scarf.

You can find the pattern here.

The scarf is knitted using the double-face technique, which takes a bit of practice but produces a great result. With this technique, the colors are mirrored—the other side shows them exactly reversed.
The pattern is a sequence of different dot motifs, all shown in knitting charts.

The triangular shawl "EBBE & FLUT" was inspired by my favorite island, "Amrum"! Waves - stripes - bobbles: Here, the colors and textures of sky and sea are reflected in a gentle lace wave pattern. It can be knitted with any 4-ply sock yarn (yardage approx. 400 m/100 g), but the pattern is written so that thicker yarns can also be used!

Difficulty level: 3-4 out of 10

You should be able to: knit and purl stitches, knit stitches through the back loop, yarn overs, knit stitches together, slip-stitch decreases, bobbles (explained in detail), experience working from a knitting chart is helpful

Get that island feeling and the knitting pattern right here:
Knitting pattern for the triangular shawl "EBBE & FLUT"

Happy knitting and dreaming,
Annette

St. Nicholas Day may still seem a long way off, but experience shows that the Christmas season passes surprisingly quickly and brings a lot of stress. So it’s better not to put anything off, but to start your Christmas crafting now – for example with this St. Nicholas boot.

The boot is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 18.5 x 21 x 9 cm, and is very sturdy. With a little crafting experience, it is easy and quick to make; only cutting out the many stars takes a bit of time, so it’s best to get started right away!
