"Grande Abbraccio" is Italian and means: "The Big Hug", and that is exactly what this beautiful shawl does. With a wingspan of 2.15 m and a depth of 0.90 m, it completely "hugs" you.

It offers many different ways to wear it, whether as a scarf around your neck, as a stole, or as a shoulder shawl for cool evenings.

Materials needed:
  • a 4-ply plied gradient yarn with a total length of approx. 1150 m was used here,
of course, you can also make it with other yarns/wool
  • any crochet hook suitable for the yarn (here size 3.5)

Crafting is, of course, a creative hobby in and of itself, but if you want to take your creativity a step further—how about a double-faced scarf inspired by a front door with turned details?

You can find the pattern here.

This is, of course, highly stylized, but I actually got the idea when I walked past a door like that. The technique isn’t suitable for beginners; it’s more for experienced knitters. There’s a knitting chart for the turned details.

When crocheting these 10 finger puppets for a puppet show, you’ll still have plenty of room for your own creativity, because you can design the individual characters exactly as you imagine by making small changes to hair color, hairstyles, and costumes. So with this pattern, you can crochet not only the provided characters (Kasperl, Grandmother, Seppel, Gretel, Witch, Robber, Policeman, King, Princess, Crocodile) but many others as well.
Grab this one-of-a-kind bargain!

Creative handmade crafting: For me, this homemade rug for the children's room represents exactly that. Using a Prym knitting mill with a crank, you make lots of spool-knitted cords in bright, colorful shades. These spool-knitted cords are then threaded into a crocheted rug. Then an edging is crocheted around it. This creates a lovely look, and it feels wonderfully soft underfoot, too. And the rug is guaranteed to be one of a kind and a real eye-catcher.

Everything is described in great detail in my pattern. It's no coincidence that it has only 5-star reviews from other craft friends who have made the rug themselves.

This cute pillow, which looks like a piece of candy, is quick to crochet—even for beginners.
You’ll need 100 g each of white and red “Bravo” yarn. The pillow is filled with
synthetic stuffing and can therefore be washed entirely in the
washing machine if needed. The pillow can be crocheted in various sizes —up to about 30 cm in diameter. The method is always the same. Over 16 pages, I’ll show you step by step how to do it. A crochet chart is also included. I hope you enjoy making it!

And after Christmas, you could use them for the Easter table. Each guest at the breakfast table has a little bag like this on their plate with a small surprise inside. That’s guaranteed to make everyone smile.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project.

A bit outside the norm—here you literally have to “think around the corner.” A V-shaped scarf that also forms an elongated V through its color scheme. It is knitted from sock yarn and really consists only of knit stitches. The trick is that you change color between the rows. Simple in itself, but it requires a bit of attention.

Here is the pattern.

This scarf is also a bit out of the ordinary, as it is both knitted and crocheted. The long part of the scarf is knitted lengthwise, and the ends with the fringes are crocheted.

You can find the pattern here.

Click here for the patternBring spring back with this pretty butterfly

This is a quick craft project that can bring a little spring into your home. This pretty butterfly can be made in about half an hour. Even older children can make this butterfly.
The children should, however, already be 7 to 8 years old.

This butterfly is a lovely idea for a table decoration.
It can also be used in other ways as a decoration, to adorn shelves or decorate walls. It has a wingspan of 10 cm and a body length of 8 cm.
With this quick craft project, you can also quickly make a nice little gift or a last-minute present.

What you’ll need:
- 2 rectangles of construction paper in different sizes (color of your choice)
- 1 pipe cleaner (approx. 30 cm long)
- 3 to 4 beads (beads of your choice; just make sure a doubled pipe cleaner can be threaded through them)
double-sided tape to attach the butterfly

and a desire to get crafting.
I hope you enjoy making it and have lots of creativity.

Crochet pattern for a poncho with a Möbius scarf collar (loop) - quick and easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy to crochet... both the poncho and the matching Möbius loop.

With a Möbius scarf, the pattern you create is mirrored, i.e., one horizontal half looks like the right outer side, while the second half looks like the wrong inner side of the pattern. This creates sophisticated effects, depending on how the scarf is wrapped and how the pattern drapes.

With this crochet technique, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn 100 g – 100 m and an 8.0 mm crochet hook. Other yarns are absolutely possible; the important thing is to use the specified starting measurements. The principle always remains the same.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.
