You can make the owl pot holders as colorful as you like! Here you can see them in the Crazy Patterns colors. Take a look in your scrap bin — you’re sure to still have some cotton yarn for a 2.5 mm hook (Catania or similar).
The scale pattern for the belly feathers and wings is explained in detail with lots of pictures in the pattern; the rest is crocheted in single crochet and is very easy.

Bangle Bracelets Made from PET Bottles - modern, colorful, and casual!

Here I’ll show you a special method for making stylish bangles quickly and easily
with very little material.

All you need is an old PET bottle, some yarn, and for a
touch of glamour, a piece of rhinestone chain - and in no time at all, you’ll have a truly
unique piece of jewelry. Also great as a gift or a small token gift.

You can combine the bangles however you like. Whether it’s just one
bangle (perhaps a little wider), two, or several worn at the same time
- they’re always a real eye-catcher. Depending on which
colors you use, these pieces can look either elegant (e.g.
in black and white) or cheerfully summery (colorful in pastel shades), etc.

Metal-free, flexible, and feather-light - making them very comfortable to wear.
Materials used: plastic from PET bottles, cotton (Catania Grande by Schachenmayr), rhinestone chain, jewelry glue.

The bangles are washable at 30 degrees in a laundry bag.

Detailed description as a PDF file with over 20 step-by-step photos.

This shopping bag is also beautifully colorful and is knitted in cotton.

You can find the pattern here.

Inspired by the colors of the Caribbean, it’s knitted in a simple slip stitch pattern that looks complicated but isn’t. You’ll need two different colors of cotton yarn (fairly thick, 69 m per 50 g) and a 5 mm circular needle.

These socks have a wonderful pattern for hand-dyed sock yarns—or colorful sock yarns in general.

The pattern is not difficult, but it uses a lot of yarn. The effect is created by slipped stitches and strands that run vertically and horizontally across the pattern. The pattern is available in two different sizes.

Standing Pouch

Crochet pattern for a pencil case by AjonteHol—get the pattern for this beautiful case. A stylish pouch for your pens, glasses, or crochet hooks. The pattern is 8 pages long, and all patterns are explained in writing. This is a great way to use up your leftover cotton yarn. You should have a little
practice under your belt. But don’t be afraid of
sewing in the zipper—it’ll be in place with just a few stitches, or you can
simply glue it in with fabric glue. The same goes for
the lining; it’s easy to glue in place.

For everyone who loves things colorful: Frida Kahlo’s rich splendor of colors inspired these cheerfully colorful wrist warmers in a Norwegian pattern! The arm warmers are perfect for using up your leftover yarn, and playing with the colors is incredibly fun! All 4-ply sock yarns and yarns of a similar weight (yardage approx. 200 m/50 g) can be used. If you would like to buy the colors specifically for this project, I recommend the fine merino yarn from Joruns Botany; it comes in affordable 25 g skeins in an incredible variety of colors!

Difficulty level: Intermediate; for experienced knitters who would like to try their hand at Fair Isle knitting.

Required techniques: Knit and purl stitches, knitting in the round with a set of double-pointed needles, knitting jacquard patterns with multiple colors, working from a chart.

Materials used: 4-ply sock yarns or leftover yarn in a similar weight; set of double-pointed needles size 2.5

Wishing you a colorful knitting delight,
Annette
