This crocheted scarf is absolutely perfect for beginners—and here’s a fun twist: the fringes aren’t at the ends, but on the sides. Crocheted with thick yarn, it’s finished in a flash and makes for a stylish statement piece.

This infinity scarf is also very well suited for beginners.

The only challenge is joining it in the round; otherwise, it’s knitted in a simple pattern of knit and purl stitches. A quick sense of accomplishment is guaranteed.

Works up quickly and easily:

Practical shopping net with the life motto "Live Love Laugh".
This cute shopping net reminds you to take a short break now and then and enjoy life. Thanks to the filet crochet pattern, the bag is crocheted in no time and also makes a great gift.

For the material, I used Catania by Schachenmayr; of course,
you can also use any other cotton yarn - also great for
using up leftover yarn. Crochet hooks 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm.
The bag is 35 cm wide and 45 cm tall (including handles).

Suitable for beginners.

Here is the pattern

The pattern is described in detail with a counting pattern, crochet chart, and lots of pictures.

Knitted Poncho/Stole, featherlight - very easy

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - pattern and shape are absolutely suitable for beginners.

This is a short pattern for a featherlight poncho in one size that is very easy to knit, made from just 100 g of KidSilk (Austermann). For beginners, I recommend (lace) yarns without mohair, as mohair can hardly be unraveled.

The PDF pattern includes the preview image.

TIP: The poncho can also be knitted nicely as a warm outdoor poncho with bulky yarn, 100 g - 100 m, using needle size 8.0. Required yarn amount then approx. 700 g. The number of stitches always depends on your individual gauge.
To convert your individual gauge, I recommend this here:
READ instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet
as well as my blog post: Converting gauge - here's how..

Required knitting skills:
cast-on, edge stitch (your favorite edge stitch), knit and purl stitches, bind off.

An ideal beginner project for practicing is this “Winter Fairy Tale” set with a cowl and matching wrist warmers

The classic ribbed pattern is subtle and elegant at the same time, so it can be combined with almost any clothing style.
It is very easy to crochet, because it consists only of chain stitches, single crochet stitches, and double crochet stitches, and can also be customized to any size for any yarn you like – without any annoying recalculating!

And the best part: you don’t even have to crochet extra buttonholes! It couldn’t be easier!

So grab about 200–250 g of your favorite yarn, a crochet hook in the right
size, and a few pretty wooden buttons, and you’ll be ready to get started!
You can find the pattern and more info here >>>

This simple yet sophisticated scarf collar is ideal for beginner knitters. We only knit knit stitches and, at the end, crochet single crochet and chain stitches for the button band. It has 1 button and 3 buttonholes. It can be folded and buttoned in different ways. This gives you various ways to wear it and always creates a new look.

Materials:
  • 200 g thick yarn (e.g. "Olympia" or "Atzteka" (then work with two strands)
  • 1 circular knitting needle, size 9
  • For the crocheted buttonhole row: 1 crochet hook, size 6 or 7
  • 1 large decorative button
In the 10-page step-by-step pattern, I show you exactly how the scarf collar is knitted. The buttonhole row
is crocheted from single crochet and chain stitches.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project.
