Crochet Pattern Potholders with 3D Look (Cubes)

These great potholders are absolutely quick to crochet. And they go over well with young and old alike. Every homemaker should own such modern potholders.

Quick to crochet, you can even make a few of them when the weather isn’t nice. Just grab a little yarn and off you go.

With the yarn used, the potholders measure approximately 17 cm (side to side) and 19 cm (corner to corner)
If you would like the potholder to be a little larger, you can use slightly thicker yarn and a larger crochet hook.

  • Crochet hook 3.0
  • Sewing needle and scissors
What you will work
  • Chain stitches / single crochet and slip stitches and simple sewing
  • Double crochet (explained in detail)
  • Increasing and decreasing (explained in detail)
  • Crocheting in rows (explained in detail)
  •  crocheting in rounds

Best regards, your Dorigurumi

Crochet pattern for the simple eco mesh bag Bernau #3

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This mesh bag is crocheted quickly and easily from approx. 140 m of thin packing twine (100% hemp; 200 g – 160 m running length), in rounds from bottom to top with hook size 6.0. If you like, you can crochet a little heart as a pop of color or something similar; for this, use a leftover bit of yarn for the little heart with a crochet hook size suitable for the yarn.

  • all desired sizes possible (yarn usage varies depending on size)
  • all desired yarns possible (depending on the yarn weight and crochet hook size used, only the size changes)
  • basic crochet skills are sufficient
Finished measurements here:
unstretched/lying flat: approx. 25 cm high x 32 cm wide, i.e. circumference approx. 64 cm. The bag is very stretchy in the mesh area – it fits quite a lot!

Included in the download :

  • 8-page PDF crochet pattern mesh bag (in text form, progress photos added after the text instructions)
including illustrated instructions for crocheting the little heart
  • PDF Crochet Basics – illustrated basic crochet techniques

Or crochet “just” the little hearts as scatter decoration or for gift wrapping, etc.

Always at hand:

READ IT OFF instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Here it is—the much-requested PDF table for determining the number of stitches to cast on: READ IT OFF instead of calculating—whether printed out or on a smartphone, always close at hand—this PDF table is simply practical for on the go.

Here’s how it works: crochet or knit a gauge swatch (at least 10 cm x 10 cm), count how many stitches/rows make 10 cm, and then conveniently read in the table how many stitches need to be cast on for the desired measurement.

For pattern instructions
“number of stitches divisible by ... plus   ...” I recommend this Excel table (click me).

These fruity glass coasters—which you can also use as glass covers to keep wasps out—are a breeze to make, because you don’t have to do much counting or follow a complicated pattern while crocheting. Just use a few color-coordinated leftover yarn scraps from your scrap basket. And you can get the pattern right here!

Practical shopping net with the life motto "Live Love Laugh".
This cute shopping net reminds you to take a short break now and then and

you can also use any other cotton yarn—also great for
using up leftovers. Crochet hooks 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm.
The bag is 35 cm wide and 45 cm tall (including handle). Suitable for beginners.
