Summer Hat or Drip Catcher

for crocheting the pictured drip catcher for runny noses, or how to hide your nose


Note: You can hide a tissue in the sunflower.
Materials:

• Scraps of green yarn (various shades), yellow and brown yarn (yardage as desired or according to whatever yarn is available)
• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle

Other yarn and the matching crochet hook can also be used. This may lead to slight variations. The pattern is also suitable for beginners who have the necessary knowledge of stitches (how to crochet the stitch types is not explained).


Stitches used:

• sc - single crochet
• hdc - half double crochet
• sl st - slip stitch
• dc - double crochet
