Knit one eyelet row, as well as knit 2 stitches together for the decreases at the crown. All of this is explained in detail in the pattern. And then you can get started. Have fun making it.

Crochet Pattern: Quick and Sturdy Storage Basket

This pretty storage basket is quick to crochet and inexpensive, too.
For example, use it as a bowl for sweets, or it also makes a great gift.

  • Height 7 cm
Materials
  • ONELine Linie 55 Montego (100 g / 100 m LL) color 36/52/23, 25 g each
  • Crochet hooks 5.0 and 5.5 (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • a CD or other material (sturdy)

Free crochet pattern: horse bag for girls

This bag is an absolute hit for all little girls, especially if they are total horse lovers, too.

Make this great bag for your loved ones yourself with my very detailed pattern. It will be approx. 25 cm long and also 25 cm high, if you use the same yarn and crochet hook as I did. Not a lot fits inside, but this bag is definitely a real eye-catcher for little girls.

If you want the bag to be larger, simply use thicker yarn or hold the yarn double. Add a larger crochet hook and the bag will offer a little more space. If you like horses and love bags, this bag is just right for you. I have explained everything step by step over several pages and included lots of pictures.

What is crocheted:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet stitches
  • Increases and decreases
  • Color changes
What you need
  • Catania yarn (rose, pink, and purple)
  • Crochet hook 2.5
  • Stuffing
  • Safety eyes (approx. 10 mm)
  • Scissors
  • Stitch marker
Have fun!!!

A wise person plans ahead: So knit this lovely set, consisting of a pointed hat and triangular shawl - using my free pattern. That way, you’ll be well prepared for the coming autumn. The hat and shawl are knitted from 6-ply sock yarn (80% virgin wool) - so they are neither too thick nor too thin for autumn. The wool is pleasantly warm and doesn’t itch. The set fits 2- to 4-year-olds with a head circumference of 48 to 52 cm.

Materials for hat and shawl:

  • 1 150 g ball of 6-ply sock yarn "Meilenweit" by Lana Grossa (or similar)
  • Size 3.5 circular knitting needle (possibly a set of double-pointed needles for those who can knit with them) and
  • 1 size 3 crochet hook
The hat is knitted using knit and purl stitches. The shawl is also knitted using knit and purl stitches as well as yarn overs. It
has a small crocheted edging of single crochet and double crochet stitches.
Basic knowledge and some crafting experience should already be
available, as not every step is illustrated.

Best regards - Ina

Such a pretty little lantern is always welcome. It makes a decorative touch in your own garden and is also well received as a small gift to bring along. It is quickly crocheted using only 30 g of cotton. The cover goes over a small jam jar with a maxi tealight placed inside. Then it’s ready to use and creates cozy, wind-protected, safe candlelight.

It looks lovely in small groups on the table or individually as an eye-catcher in or on a tree. Here in the photo, you can see that it also has its charm in winter:

With little effort, you have a beautiful little decoration for both summer and winter. The pattern is very suitable for crochet beginners because everything is described in detail and shown step by step.I hope you enjoy the free pattern.

And if you crochet only the lower part with thick cotton yarn, you’ll have a bowl in no time:

Best regards from Ina

How about this:
Easy knitting pattern for a lace shoulder shawl/scarf

Suitable for any yarn and size.

A feather-light gradient lace shawl (yarn used here: 150 g Austermann Caleido Lace for approx. 42 cm x 112 cm) in a simple lace pattern, that can be worn as a shawl, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf.

Basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knitting together, bind off) are sufficient for this simple lace pattern.

Too much to throw away, too little to start a new project...
So how about these summery butterflies?

And the best part: a butterfly like this can be made in just one hour, almost on the side!

READ IT OFF instead of calculating - PDF table for knitting and crocheting

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

Here it is—the much-requested PDF table for determining the number of stitches to cast on: READ IT OFF instead of calculating—whether printed out or on a smartphone, always at hand—this PDF table is simply practical for on the go.

Here's how it works.
Gauge crochet or knit (at least 10 cm x 10 cm), count how many stitches make up 10 cm for you, and then conveniently read in the table how many stitches you need to cast on for your desired measurement.

Wishing you lots of knitting/crocheting fun,
Traudelina
