Crochet Pattern Children’s Short-Sleeve Raglan Granny Sweater (Ages 3–12)

The sweater for slightly cooler summer days—or evenings.
I have explained my pattern in great detail and step by step.

Even beginners can crochet this sweater with my pattern.
With the many pictures, you can always compare your results right away.

My pattern includes information for sizes 96/104 to 146/152,so for children ages 3 to 12.

This beautiful children’s sweater is crocheted from top to bottom and almost in one piece. Thanks to its granny pattern, it is quite airy despite the somewhat thicker yarn.

Materials
  • Pro Lana Joker (turquoise, gray, and white) 50 g/87 m yardage, approx. 300–400 g total
  • Crochet hook 4.0 mm (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
What is crocheted
  • Chain stitch
  • Slip stitch
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • crochet in rounds

Yours, Doreen

Crochet Pattern Cardigan/Jacket Raglan XS/S/M/L/XL

This beautiful jacket is crocheted from the top down (raglan).

It can also be worn well as a short-sleeved jacket. I also explain in great detail how the sleeves are crocheted, with lots of pictures.

Contents of the pattern:
  • Materials
  • Abbreviations
  • Gauge
  • Information for sizes XS/S/M/L/XL
  • small crochet school
  • lots of pictures
The measurements for this sweater are not just rigidly based on standard sizes. Every body is individual. Since we crochet the jacket from top to bottom, it can be adjusted completely individually.

Material
  • ONline Cora Linie 20 NS 4-5
  • Colors stone gray (approx. 500 g), black (approx. 200 g), and white (approx. 50 g)
  • Crochet hook 5.0 mm (or as desired)
  • Sewing needle/darning needle
  • Scissors
  • Buttons (6 or as desired)
What will be crocheted?
  • Chain stitch
  • Turning chain
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Slip stitch
  • Crab stitch
I have described everything in great detail in my pattern and also tried to explain every technique
as well as possible. In the pattern I crocheted and photographed size L (40/42).

Even beginners can give this jacket a try. And if you have any problems, I’ll be very happy to help.

Knitting Pattern for a Striped Cotton Short-Sleeved Cardigan

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Stripes are totally on trend. With a top underneath this comfortable-to-wear cotton short-sleeved cardigan, you’ll be wonderfully dressed both at work and in your free time. And if it gets a bit cooler, you can also wear a thin turtleneck underneath.

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 23 pages.

These knitting skills are needed:
casting on stitches, knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together, yarn over, emphasized decreases and increases from the strand between stitches (explained with pictures).

Difficulty level: intermediate

We need
a total of approx. 450 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for sizes S to L, 100% mercerized cotton, label information: 50 g – 125 m yardage, needle size 2.5–3.5, gauge: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm,  color distribution as desired.

I used here: knitting needle size 3.5, 3 stitch holders and 1 cable for placing stitches on hold, stitch markers and row counter (not absolutely required), pins for blocking, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
