Seashells are a popular summer decoration, but it’s not always easy to find ones that are beautiful and large enough to use as decor. Why not make your own? With this pattern for 3 different seashells, you can crochet lots of colorful seashells using your leftover yarn. You can choose the colors however you like. Almost any type of yarn works. The seashells turn out especially beautiful when made with colorful sock yarn or yarn in pastel shades.

For me, summer and flowers simply belong together, and beautifully “packaged,” even a bouquet of wildflowers really comes into its own! And you don’t even need expensive vases for that—just pop a canning jar or jam jar—or even a flower pot— into the hand-knitted cover, decorate it nicely, e.g. with the knitted rose (also included in the pattern) or shells, cords, or beads....., add flowers—and your beautiful flower decoration is ready! The ROSI-COSI vase cover, shaped like a pouch, is super easy and quick to knit (also for beginners) and, depending on the material, can be used for many purposes, e.g. also as a bread roll bag, little Easter nest, gift wrapping....—and in any season!

And here’s the knitting pattern:

Have fun knitting, and Annette wishes you
a wonderful summer

These cute little gnomes are year-round companions. They wander around the garden, can be filled with gifts, and spread good cheer everywhere as decorations.

You’ll only notice their special feature at second glance, because they have a lot of great and useful functions:

  • You can wrap gifts inside them (e.g., money, jewelry, candy, and much more).
  • They’re a huge hit as egg cozies.
  • They make a sweet little gift for young and old alike.
  • They hold your knitting and crocheting supplies, such as buttons.
  • They can also store jewelry inside them.
  • They also make a great addition as Advent calendars.
  • They’re a huge hit at kids’ birthday parties and are sure to bring lots of joy.
  • And, of course, they’re also a great toy for kids.

As a gift, they’ll be well-received everywhere and are sure to be a hit—not just with kids.

I’d rate the difficulty level as easy. It just takes a little patience and skill to shape the faces.

Beginners with basic skills can easily and quickly make these gnomes.

The individual steps are described in detail in the pattern. The PDF file is 21 pages long and includes 53 individual photos.
