And if your boss catches you crafting under your desk—you’re definitely allowed to do it during your lunch break! A small pot holder is perfect for a quick project on the side.

You can find the pattern here.

Made with colorful cotton, it makes a gray workday more bearable and is also very easy to knit. Knit stitches and purl stitches—that’s all it takes. And a small scrap of cotton, of course.

Hedgehog Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

This cute and funny pair of hedgehogs will brighten up any breakfast table and put a smile on your face first thing in the morning ;-). Not only do they reliably keep your breakfast eggs warm, but they also make great fall decorations for your home. They’re also a super cute, eye-catching gift! What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 12g of brown yarn (e.g., Cotone fine by Lana Grossa, 100% cotton). Scraps in beige or light brown. Your yarn should definitely be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
  • 6mm safety eyes, black thread for embroidering the nose and eyebrows

Difficulty level: Medium-easy; you should definitely have some crocheting experience and be able to do the following: making a magic ring, increasing and decreasing single crochet stitches, sewing on the various parts, single crochet, slip stitches, chain stitches. I explain in detail at the beginning of the pattern how to crochet the bobbles that represent the spikes. The pattern is 12 pages long and includes pictures that show everything step by step. I also show you how to sew on the individual parts with pictures.

Crochet Pattern Tunic, Quick and (S-XL)

This beautiful tunic is crocheted almost in one piece.

It is very easy to crochet and also quite quick to make. You start at the neckline and then crochet in rounds, working toward the arms and at the same time downward. The edging on the arms and a bit more at the bottom (to reach the right length) is crocheted on later.

The crochet pattern for this tunic is also suitable for beginners(with a little experience), as it also includes a “little crochet school.”

I have explained everything in great detail and step by step with many pictures so that you can really recreate it without any problems. I’m also happy to help at any time.

Materials
  • DROPS Belle (hook size 4), 50 g/ 120 m yardage (4 different colors) approx. 350 - 500 g
  • Crochet hook 3.5 (or your choice
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
What will be crocheted
  • chain stitches
  • slip stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
Have fun, yours Doreen

It looks especially beautiful with gradient yarn.
It offers many different ways to wear it, whether as a scarf around your neck, as a stole, or as a shawl for cool summer evenings.
When blocked and using the specified yarn and hook size, the shawl measures: 1.85 m x 0.75 m. You can crochet it from a written pattern, or
work from the crochet chart.

click here to go to the pattern:

Required materials:
  • a 4-ply plied gradient yarn with a total yardage of 800 m was used here; of course, you can also make it with other yarns/wool
  • any crochet hook suitable for the yarn (here size 3.5)

NEW in July 2017:

Crochet pattern for a simple eco mesh bag Bernau #3

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Shopping nets made from packing twine are currently a big hit in the Bernau environmental project.

This mesh bag is crocheted from approx. 140 m of thin packing twine (100% hemp; 200 g – 160 m yardage), in rounds from bottom to top, with hook size 6.0. If you like, you can crochet a little pop-of-color heart or similar; for this, use a leftover bit of yarn for the little heart with a crochet hook size that matches the yarn.

  • any desired size possible (yarn consumption varies depending on size)
  • any desired yarn possible (depending on the yarn weight and crochet hook size used, only the size changes)
  • basic crochet skills are enough
Finished measurements here:
unstretched/lying flat: approx. 25 cm high x 32 cm wide, i.e. circumference approx. 64
cm.The bag is very stretchy in the mesh area – it fits quite a lot
inside!

Included in the download :

  • 8-page PDF crochet pattern mesh bag (in text form, step-by-step photos attached after the written pattern), incl. illustrated instructions for a crochet heart
  • PDF Crochet Basics – illustrated basic crochet techniques

Another mesh bag made from packing twine:

  • With bag handle
  • also as a drawstring bag/shoulder bag – as a shopper
  • or even carried on your back – “piggyback” – as a little backpack.
  • Any desired yarn possible with the matching hook size, used here: 250 g packing twine
    (100% hemp), 200 g – 160 m yardage and crochet hook 6.0;
2 stitch markers recommended, cord stoppers if needed.
  • All desired sizes possible
  • Also suitable for using up leftover yarn (color changes are explained)
