Dear users, dear authors,
blue and white leftover yarn is perfect for summer . Think of nautical motifs, the creamy-blue sky on a midsummer afternoon with little white cotton-like clouds —just as summer clichés would have it. :-)
You should definitely not throw away leftover yarn—you can use it to recreate so many pretty projects . Here in this thread, you’ll find inspiration for blue and white leftover yarn.
Get started.

@Authors,
you can each share 2–3 thematically appropriate patterns here.
Don’t forget to include a picture, a link, and the usual information about the pattern.

A small leftover bit of cotton is enough for this pretty bookmark, which is knitted in a lace pattern. The pattern is written out row by row and also shown as a knitting chart.

You can find the bookmark here.

And if you’d rather use a different color — that’s fine with me :-)

At least the smallest size of this hat can easily be knitted with leftover yarn, too. Maybe some people are longing for winter in this heat.

You can find the pattern here.

The hat shows a snowy landscape. The pattern is not suitable for beginners, but anyone with a little practice with Jacquard patterns will enjoy it.

In addition, the duplicate stitch is explained in detail and illustrated. (owl)

Using about 90 m of leftover sock yarn, you can knit these wrist warmers.

You’ll find the pattern here.

These are knitted in rows using 3 mm needles, and the pattern is relatively simple. The only tricky part is the small holes, which are explained in a tutorial.
