Materials needed:
  • For women’s size 36–42, I used approx. 1400 m of 4-ply yarn (for larger/smaller sizes, plan for correspondingly more/less)

It’s actually a stole, but it works very well as a poncho, too.

You can find the pattern here.

Knitted lengthwise from sock yarn, you can make it any size you like. It features a lace pattern along the bottom edge (knitting chart included). For the poncho version, you’ll need at least 600m of yarn.

Ponchos are always in season—whether summer, fall, or winter. This casual-cool summer poncho is guaranteed to become your favorite. Just throw it on and look great. With its clever cut and elegant drape, it is an absolute figure-flatterer and conceals small problem areas. It goes with jeans and dresses. Just take a look at the photos.

  • It fits all sizes. The neckline size and back length are customized at the end.
  • The knitting pattern and the stitch pattern are suitable for knitting beginners and pros alike. We knit only knit stitches, purl stitches, and yarn overs. 4 pattern rows alternate continuously. But you don’t need to be able to read any
complicated knitting charts, although a knitting chart
is included. On 21 illustrated pages, I show and explain everything to you in detail, step by step
Materials
  • 200 g “Drachenwolle” (yardage 600 m/100 g)
  • Circular knitting needle with metal tips, size 3.5, 80 cm long (or longer)
I hope you have lots of fun with the pattern and wearing your summer poncho. Best regards from Ina --> Click here and you’ll go directly to the pattern!

And for those who’d like to start thinking about fall now and enjoy walks outside among the colorful leaves, this soft and warm poncho made of cozy wool with a built-in color gradient is highly recommended. It flatters your figure and effortlessly hides any little extra padding—nothing pinches or digs in. Knitting it is fun, because we make quick progress thanks to size 8 needles. The size can be customized to fit the wearer. The knitting pattern is also very well suited for beginners.

Materials:
700 g Olympia, circular knitting needle size 8

I wish you lots of fun making it and many admiring glances when you wear it. Warm regards from Ina--> Click here to go directly to the pattern!

Winter is sure to come again (despite global warming). And then a poncho like this is wonderfully warm:

Crochet Pattern for a Poncho with a Möbius Scarf Collar (Loop)—quick and easy

(Click the image to purchase/download )

Quick and easy to crochet... (it only took me one weekend to make both pieces).

With this crochet method, you can decide how big you want the poncho to be as you go—just stop crocheting when you’re happy with the size.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn (100 g – 100 m) and a size 8.0 crochet hook. Other yarns are perfectly fine; the important thing is to follow the specified starting measurements. The principle remains the same throughout.

The PDF pattern includes instructions for both the poncho and the Möbius scarf and is illustrated , but it is not a crochet course in itself.

You’ll need the following crochet skills :
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you’ve worked is mirrored—that is, one horizontal half appears as the right outer side, while the other half appears as the left inner side of the pattern. This creates sophisticated effects depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Suitable for all seasons:

Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A knitted lightweight piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under something – simple, with an eye-catching collar area. Both patterns used are very easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar shaping requires a bit of care, so difficulty level: medium.

Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Because of the jacket’s casual shape and stretch, one stitch more or less is not especially critical. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose larger or smaller knitting needles. The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does contain relevant link tips.

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the ball band: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;
Alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair or KidSilk (Adriafil) – the same amount in each case for the total back length of approx. 71 cm knitted here. This material is knitted with two strands held together. Additional alternative yarns are listed in the pattern.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch marker, row counter if needed.

A wonderfully lightweight—yet still very warm thanks to the camel hair—poncho is waiting for you here!

The technique is kept simple—but the little cable border adds the finishing touch!
Plus, the snowmen worked in beads look lovely and also serve to weigh down the poncho, ensuring it drapes neatly.

This pattern is designed for sizes 38/40.
However, the included schematic and gauge make it possible to knit any size!

A detailed description guides you through the entire knitting process.

Start getting ready for fall already....................., does it have to be?

No, it doesn’t have to be, but it would be nice if your poncho were already finished by then.

The name of the gradient yarn cake "Falling Leaves," which gave the poncho its name, already gets you in the mood for fall.

Materials:

  • 2 gradient yarn cakes “Falling Leaves,” 4-ply, total yardage 2,400 meters
  • 1 circular knitting needle size 5, 40-60 cm
  • 1 circular knitting needle size 5, 100-120 cm
  • 3 stitch markers
  • 1 needle for weaving in ends
  • 1 pair of scissors

Measurements:
  • Length 1.05 meters
  • Circumference 2.26 meters
  • Neck circumference 1.00 meter

The pattern is also suitable for beginners and includes an explanation of how you can adjust the poncho to your size.

>>> Click here for the pattern

Have fun knitting, and I’ll be happy to help if you have any questions!!!

Best wishes

Christa

How about a combination of a triangular shawl and a poncho? A real eye-catcher on cool summer evenings or for festive occasions!

In the knitting pattern, the complete shawl is explained in detail step by step over 18 pages plus an additional 2 pages with detailed pattern charts, including the pattern repeats and lots of photos. However, you should have basic knitting skills and a little practice. I would rate the difficulty level as intermediate.

The following basic knitting and crochet skills are required:
  • knit knit and purl stitches
  • work yarn overs
  • decreases leaning to the right and to the left (also briefly explained here)
  • two-row seed stitch
  • knitting from a chart
  • crochet chain stitches and single crochet
  • It would be helpful if you know how to increase stitches to the right (there are notes on this in the pattern)
Material:
  • 300 g cotton in white (here: yardage
  • 170 m/50 g)
  • 50-100 g cotton in pink
  • One 80 cm circular knitting needle, size 3.5 mm
  • One crochet hook, size 3.5 mm
  • One yarn needle for weaving in ends
  • A few stitch markers
