This little sheep has already been playing its very own lullaby to help many children fall asleep! If you use the recommended yarn, it will be big enough to hold a music box inside its belly. Then you can choose a melody that suits your taste.
To crochet the little lamb, you’ll need about 50 g of white yarn (preferably fluffy yarn, which makes it extra plush) and some stuffing. You’ll only need to use single crochet.
You can download the pattern here!

A useful calculation aid:
Conversion table for yarn quantity, alternative yarn for knitting and crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn quantity from the “original yarn” to an “alternative yarn” of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn named in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this “original yarn” for your size. However, you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This yarn, chosen by you, has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information into the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your desired yarn in skeins and grams.

A gauge is very important. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

Technical note:
To open an Excel spreadsheet, a so-called spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file with a double-click, and if the message “Protected View” appears, please click “Enable Editing”

Good luck with all your projects

Peara is a true perennial favorite among crochet patterns. This chic scarf is wonderful to wear in summer, but it can also be a real highlight for festive occasions.

The incorporated beads give it that special finishing touch. But even without beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes especially beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. The scarf can be varied in length and width, and can be crocheted with almost any yarn.

It looks especially beautiful in a Bobbel or Laceball from Schoppel.

Size after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm.

What you need:
  • a Bobbel with approx. 800–1000 meters of yardage, 3- to 4-ply, or corresponding lace yarn
  • crochet hook suitable for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use one size larger )
  • beads (e.g. rocailles – the hole should be large enough that it
  • doesn’t sit too tightly on the yarn )
  • a piece of very thin wire for stringing the beads
  • sewing needle for weaving in ends
What you need to know:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crochet stitches together
What you get:
  • 11 pages of pattern!
  • Pattern written out stitch by stitch
  • Professionally created crochet charts (Charts)
  • Photo tutorial for crocheting in the beads
  • Difficulty level: easy
