With this modern poncho, you'll be right on trend; it's a beautiful eye-catcher and perfect for cool summer evenings.

Just slip it on, tighten the collar if needed, and the weather can't bother you anymore. The pattern includes the following 3 size/measurement details:
  • Children ages 8–12
  • Women's size 36–42
  • Women's size 44–48/50
The poncho is crocheted in rounds and is also definitely doable for ambitious beginners.

Click here to go to the pattern:

Materials needed:
  • For women's size 36–42, I used about 1400 m of 4-ply yarn (plan accordingly more/less for larger/smaller sizes)
  • 2 crochet hooks suitable for the yarn (sizes 3.5 + 4 were used here)

Hi Josefa

there’s something very, very important missing from your “You need more?” list: more time—a whole lot more—to make all those tempting designs. And then you also need time to distract the cat so you can knit or crochet in peace…

@ChristinaE.
Don’t stress. It’ll all work out, step by step. :-)
It’s great that you’re having so much fun with our patterns.
Unfortunately, you can’t give away or multiply time, but I hope you find enough of it. You know how it is: you don’t have time—you make time.
--> Taking more time—or making time—for what makes you happy is always a good idea.

We can easily brave the cold season—and it comes around again every year...
A poncho makes it a cozy experience!

The combination of cable and lace patterns—paired with this warm alpaca quality—lets this shoulder warmer keep us warm whenever we need it.

This pattern is designed for sizes 36/38/40/42.
However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

A detailed description as well as a chart in knitting chart form guide you through the pattern.
In addition, an exact schematic can be found in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

The 1980s were really something special fashion-wise...
... but what has remained and is still (or once again) on trend are puff sleeves!
Such beautifully romantic sweaters can be worn in any season!

The yarn used—a blend of silk, mohair, camel, and merino—enhances the lightness of this sweater! Silkhair or something similar also works perfectly!
The boat neckline adds to the look.

This project is absolutely suitable for beginners, since the pattern is kept very simple.

All patterns used are described in detail—stitch by stitch, and a knitting chart also helps with the knitting process.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and L-XL.
However, the included schematic and the gauge make it possible to work any size!

And here’s where you’ll find the pattern and more details...

Perfect for a walk on cold autumn or spring days!

This combo consists of a hat and a bolero that can also be worn as a loop scarf.
A simple cable pattern adds a lively touch!

The pattern is designed for a head circumference of about 52-55 cm.
The loop scarf has a circumference of approx. 120 cm.

A detailed description as well as a knitting chart guide you through the pattern.

Even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

And this way to the pattern and more details...

Larger knitting projects need a certain amount of lead time.

Get the pattern for the long poncho "Falling Leaves" now, and in the fall you'll have a chic companion that many people will ask you about.

Materials:
  • 2 gradient yarn cakes "Falling Leaves", 4-ply, total yardage 2,400 meters
  • available from: https://www.birgits-wollmarkt.de/
  • 1 circular knitting needle size 5, 40-60 cm
  • 1 circular knitting needle size 5, 100-120 cm
  • 3 stitch markers
  • 1 needle for weaving in ends

Measurements:

  • Length 1.05 meters
  • Circumference 2.26 meters
  • Neck circumference 1.00 meter
It is knitted from top to bottom, so you can easily adjust the poncho length to your size. The pattern also explains how to adjust the size of the neckline.

I hope you enjoy knitting it, and if any questions come up, I’ll be happy to help.

>>> You can find the pattern here

Best wishes

Christa

A crocheted stole or wide shawl is also perfect for those mild fall days.

In the pattern, you’ll find not only a detailed explanation of each row of the pattern repeat but also a crochet chart.

The entire shawl is worked by alternating chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet to create the beautiful spiderweb pattern.

You’ll need a size 3 crochet hook and about 300 grams of a 3-ply Bobbel (100LM/200g) in your favorite color.

Come and get the pattern, and you’ll have a wonderful companion for early fall.

This scarf made with a patchwork technique is a special piece,

it takes a little longer to knit, so it’s best to start soon,
then it will be finished by fall,

you’ll need 200 g of yarn with a yardage of 420 m/100 g, and knitting needles
size 3-3.5

the squares look best when knitted with colorful yarn,

the pattern is very well described and also includes pictures,

here is the pattern:   Patchwork Scarf

Sometimes the wind can really whistle past your ears in the fall. A long scarf that you can wrap around yourself several times is just the thing.

Check this out!

A simple knitting pattern that looks great. Knitted with sock yarn, it becomes a soft, cozy scarf; with thicker yarns, it turns into a really nice, warm scarf that’s more suited for winter. You can adjust the length and width however you like.

Last winter, I noticed a lot of geometric patterns on accessories for the first time. Not on garments (maybe that’s still to come), but on infinity scarves and scarves. From everything I’ve read, this trend will continue this fall and winter and become even stronger.

Here is an infinity scarf with geometric elements.

This infinity scarf is inspired by an Op Art exhibition I visited a long time ago. A small optical illusion is built in. It is knitted in double-face technique using sock yarn (you can also use somewhat thicker yarns). This technique has a special appeal because both sides of the knitted piece are equal, just with the colors reversed. It is not very easy and certainly not suitable for beginners. However, experienced knitters will have a lot of fun with it.
The pattern is shown in knitting charts. You can also use the pattern to make a scarf; it doesn’t necessarily have to be an infinity scarf.

In autumn, it’s often already quite chilly in the mornings and evenings. Your fingers get cold, but you still don’t want to wrap up too warmly. Wrist warmers are a great solution.

You can find the pattern here.

They’re quick to make and, knitted in sock yarn, not too thick either - ideal for the transitional season. On the back of the hand, they have a fun lace pattern that is knitted in a very unusual way. There is a photo tutorial and also a knitting chart.

Autumn has its beautiful side too...because you can wear colorful hats again. Here I’d like to showcase patterns from my shop:

All hat patterns are easy for beginners to follow. The patterns include lots of pictures and detailed step-by-step explanations.

It also explains how to adjust each hat to any head circumference. This means the hats can be worn by children and adults.
