Just out of curiosity
not that I’m actually planning to do it myself
is it hard to sew a dirndl yourself?
Do you probably need that special dirndl fabric that doesn’t bleed when washed and holds its shape?
I mean, the dirndl has an apron, a bodice, and a pleated skirt too, so that could get complicated.

Actually, I’m not really the dirndl type, but with Oktoberfest coming up, it does make you think about it. I wouldn’t want to go; I’m not really into beer and stuff like that.
But it’s more about the look than the beer.
I found this article this week and saved it specifically to post here.
The article says that a dirndl looks good on pretty much every woman—is that true?
This might sound odd
but can you make a good impression with a well-made dirndl you made yourself,
even if there’s no brand name on it?
