a shawl where the ruffles are knitted right in is something a little different,

the pattern is easy to understand; you need 200 g of gradient yarn with a
yardage of 420 m / 100 g and a size 3 circular needle

the shawl is slightly asymmetrical and, thanks to its length, can be worn in many ways,

here is the pattern for it Triangle Shawl with Ruffles

to go with it, you can make interesting wrist warmers,  which are knitted lengthwise
and have a lovely thumb opening

following the very well-explained pattern, these will be finished soon

here is the pattern Wrist Warmers Knitted Lengthwise

Crochet Pattern Lace Shawl Airy-Light

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy, this shawl is crocheted from the center outward. It can be worn in many ways, e.g. as a shoulder wrap /
poncho / triangular shawl / neckerchief / scarf / hooded scarf..

  • Variable size
  • Any yarn
  • No gauge
  • No crochet chart
  • For both experienced crocheters and beginners
  • These crochet skills are enough: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches.
The PDF crochet pattern includes
  • Short version of the pattern
  • Step-by-step pattern with pictures
  • Crochet techniques for beginners, plus link tips
Material:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like, with a hook about one to two sizes larger than recommended on the respective ball band.
Fine lace yarns are especially recommended for this pattern. 4-ply sock yarn also works well.

My recommendation:

Conversion table for yarn quantity and alternative yarn for knitting and crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an Excel spreadsheet for automatically converting a yarn quantity from the "original yarn" to an "alternative yarn" of your choice.

Example:
The original yarn specified in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this "original yarn" for your size. But you would like to make your piece with a different yarn (= alternative yarn). This yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information in the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your desired yarn in skeins and grams.
A gauge swatch is always advisable. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

Technical note:

To open an Excel spreadsheet, a spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file with a double-click and, if the message "Protected View" appears, please click "Enable Editing".

Good luck with all your projects!

Arachne Shawl with a Beautiful Spider Pattern

You can crochet this exclusive shawl using the gradient yarn cake of your choice.
For the size 50 cm x 180 cm, you’ll need approximately 280 grams, using a yarn cake with 1,000 meters per 200 grams.
Use a size 3 crochet hook.

The pattern includes a crochet chart for the pattern repeat, as well as a detailed row-by-row description of the pattern repeat.

To make this shawl, you should know how to work single crochet, chain stitches, and double crochet.

I hope you all enjoy crocheting and wearing this shawl!

How about a crocheted scarf that’s perfect to wear in summer and looks simply stunning with a gradient cake?

Then get the crochet pattern for the gorgeous Peara scarf.

The incorporated beads give it that special finishing touch. But even without beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes especially beautifully and can be worn in many different ways. The scarf can be varied in length and width, and can be crocheted with almost any yarn.

It looks especially beautiful in a gradient yarn from, for example, 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.

Size after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm.

Materials needed:
  • a gradient cake with approx. 800–1000 meters of yardage, 3- or 4-ply, or suitable lace yarn
  • crochet hook suitable for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use one size larger )
  • beads (e.g. rocaille beads – the hole should be large enough so that it
  • does not sit too tightly on the yarn )
  • a piece of very thin wire for threading the beads
  • sewing needle for weaving in ends
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crochet stitches together
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial for crocheting the beads into the edge as well as into the flower pattern, written instructions, and detailed computer-created crochet charts. Easy difficulty level.

Perfect for gradient Bobbel yarn is the crochet pattern Blue Lagoon.

Blue Lagoon is a beautiful shawl in a classic triangular shape, crocheted from top to bottom.
Post double crochets alternate with a shell pattern, and the edging is crowned by a sophisticated pattern of post double crochets that form a leaf.

The shawl can also be crocheted in a solid color, but it looks especially beautiful with a Bobbel in gorgeous gradients.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 1200 meters of yarn in sock yarn weight (e.g. 4-ply gradient Bobbel, Zauberball by Schoppel)
  • size 4 crochet hook
  • scissors
  • sewing needle
  • (Optional) material for tassels
Skills needed:
  • basic skills
  • front post double crochet
  • back post double crochet
  • crocheting stitches together

Finished measurements: approx. 190 x 70 cm.
Difficulty level: easy (for ambitious beginners) to intermediate.
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes detailed written instructions as well as detailed, professionally created crochet charts and a schematic drawing.

With its wide batwing sleeves, it is the perfect companion all year round—whether at home, at the movies or on a walk—it simply always fits!

This project is absolutely suitable for beginners , because the sleeves do not have to be worked separately.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and L/XL.
However, the included schematic and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

And this way to the pattern and more details...
