Dear users, dear authors,
not everyone likes reptiles (they mostly live on land and usually have horny scales, e.g., crocodiles) and amphibians (they live in water and on land, e.g., toads), but some people love them dearly. This thread has room for snakes, crocodiles, dragons, dinosaurs, toads, frogs, newts, amphibians, lizards, turtles, geckos, etc.
Have fun with it.

@Authors,
please present 2 suitable patterns here.
Don’t forget the link and image. Please also include information about the technique, difficulty level, special features, and materials.

My Raupelina is very easy to knit. It can be knitted on two needles for beginners or in the round by those who have mastered knitting in the round. It’s a great way to use up leftover yarn.
She can be knitted to a length of 75 cm, as shown here, but also much longer

You’ll need leftover yarn for needle sizes 2.5 to 3, two straight needles or a set of double-pointed needles, and you’re ready to go.

Crochet Pattern Lizard "Lurchi"

Lizards are wondrous and extremely graceful creatures. If you would love to call an iguana or a lizard your pet, you can make that wish
come true.

Its shell is crocheted in the so-called moss stitch, which is very easy! It consists only of single crochet and chain stitches (explained in detail).

The lizard can be found almost all over the world, perhaps soon at your home too.

Rüdiger the snake (Rüdiger is a Honduran milk snake) had actually planned to treat himself to a tasty morsel today—namely Chuck, the rat. But he hadn’t counted on Chuck. Chuck knows karate and had Rüdiger tied in knots in no time, so he no longer knew which end was which.

Rüdiger and Chuck are only available as a two-pack pattern (of course with the pattern for the karate coat!). Rüdiger can either be worked completely straight, which beginners will appreciate, or you can knit in great curves with short rows—that’s fun and gives you lots of practice. Of course, Rüdiger is also perfect for using up leftover yarn—then he becomes a colorful viper. Or a color snake ;-)

Here comes Cord, the water-shy crocodile! (Yep, that's how it is with plush toys – as soon as you mention the possibility of a wash, they make themselves scarce ;-)). Otherwise, he doesn't have much in common with his dangerous relatives from the Nile, either. He likes to cuddle and doesn't eat wildebeest, preferring pasta instead. Well then!

Rodolfo, the Frog King, has a wonderfully long tongue with a pipe cleaner worked into it, so you can bend it however you like. Rodolfo's pattern is aimed at advanced and experienced beginners who have plenty of patience and enjoy working on small details (the feet!). But as always, of course, I have explained everything with pictures, so actually everyone should be able to manage.

Ever since the big Sleepy Dino had a baby, I’ve been completely swept up in Sleepy Dino mania :-) That’s why the whole Sleepy Dino family is now available as a 2-in-1 bundle

The bundle includes the crochet patterns for:

* the Sleepy Dino
* the Baby Sleepy Dino

Both patterns are, of course, also available individually in meinem Shop .

 For both patterns together, you should have solid basic crochet skills, although the big dino is more suitable for beginners than the baby.

By the way, I’ve now heard several times that a certain dino addiction has developed while crocheting—I take no responsibility for that! However, a big dino family like this is probably perfect as a large project to fill your vacation. :-)
