This great bag does take a little time to crochet, but it’s worth the effort. You’ll end up with a real showstopper.

The pattern is described in detail, and you can print out a color chart for the design, which makes crocheting easier.

gradient yarns (e.g. Bobbel).

Crochet Pattern: Airy-Light Lace Shawl

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy, this shawl is crocheted from the center outward. It can be worn in many ways, e.g. as a shoulder shawl / poncho / triangle shawl / neckerchief / scarf / hooded scarf..

  • Variable size
  • Any yarn
  • No gauge
  • No crochet chart
  • For both experienced crocheters and beginners
  • These crochet skills are enough: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches.
The PDF crochet pattern includes
  • Short version of the pattern
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern
  • Crochet techniques for beginners as well as helpful links
Material:
Basically, you can use any yarn you like, with a hook about one to two sizes larger than recommended on the yarn label.
Fine lace yarns are especially recommended for this pattern. 4-ply sock yarn also works well.

used here :
approx. 80 g Daphne lace yarn (Schoeller+Stahl), 75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide, 50 g – 400 m for needle size 3.0 to 4.0; used here: crochet hook size 4.5, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. Pins for blocking.

Crochet Pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This collar wonderfully perks up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 crochet hook) and is quickly finished in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.
However, other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, though, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Simple Baby Crochet Shoes

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This is an illustrated crochet pattern for baby shoes that are easy to crochet.

Basic crochet skills are enough.

We need:

approx. 50 g cotton (blend) yarn with a yardage of approx. 90 m per 50 g,

thinner yarn can also be used - the specified measurements are what matter
(pay attention to the gauge), leftover yarn for the bows
or 2 pretty buttons, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors

In addition to the detailed pattern, I have also created a short crochet pattern (sketch) as well as a short pattern for the knitted version.

By the way: cash gifts can also be “wrapped” this way..

Have fun “crocheting/knitting around baby feet” :-)

Crochet pattern + knitting pattern
Soul warmer and cuffs - crocheted to look knitted - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

One size - quick and easy

Whether crocheted or knitted: a cozy piece like this is in demand all year round, whether on cool summer days, as an outdoor jacket in the transitional season, or in winter on the couch..

And yes, the crochet pattern looks knitted and is just as cuddly soft.
But knitters will also get their money’s worth. The stitch pattern is very similar.

The PDF pattern is detailed over 23 pages and illustrated, and includes both the crochet pattern and the knitting pattern for the soul warmer and the arm/leg warmers.

The stitches used are explained with pictures.
So general crochet or knitting knowledge is enough.

Basically, any yarn you like can be used. However, the amount of yarn can vary greatly depending on your yarn choice and needle/hook size. Details are provided in the pattern. My yarn usage when using an alpaca yarn, 50 g – 100 m, according to the label for needle size 3 – 4, but used here: crochet hook size 8.0

  • for the soul warmer, approx. 500 g in the crochet version
(approx. 800 g in the knitted version with needle size 6.0),
  • for the cuffs, approx. 100 g in both versions
Wishing you lots of fun making it and a truly feel-good feeling with the finished piece.

Tunisian crochet - very easy with a pillow, bag, case and hiking seat cushion

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Tunisian crochet is easy. Just try it with these patterns (see image gallery). Basic crochet skills are enough. The various simple Tunisian stitch patterns are described in detail and illustrated.

4-in-1 PDF pattern:

  • a pillow 33 cm x 33 cm, “filled” with 2 towels or stuffing, etc., or 40 cm x 40 cm or a custom size
  • easy to convert into a bag/pouch.
  • plus a seat pad for hiking and
  • an eyeglasses case for your sunglasses
Depending on the color combination, the textured pattern always looks a little different. The dimensions can easily be adjusted to any desired size.

You will need: 100 g in the main color (here turquoise) and 50 g in the secondary color (here beige) of a yarn with 100 m per 50 g, recommended for hook size 3.5 – 4.0 according to the ball band, a matching Tunisian crochet hook or a knooking needle, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, pins;
Gauge according to the ball band of the yarn used here: 18.5 sts x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
The amount of yarn is also enough for a 40 cm x 40 cm pillow. For larger pillows, please calculate correspondingly more yarn.

  • PDF pattern: blog “Converting gauge – here’s how”

Crochet Pattern Christmas Decoration / Star / Flower

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Not just for Christmas—with different yarn, these "flowers" are suitable all year round.

The decorative piece consists of two parts, each of which can also be used separately. Finished size with the yarn listed below: approx. 7 cm in diameter.

The PDF pattern includes plenty of photos.

All you need is a leftover yarn of approx. 10 g of a metallic yarn, e.g. used here: Nora Madeira, 25 g – 100 m, 80% viscose, 20% metallized polyester for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.0.
However, you can also use any yarn you like with the appropriate crochet hook size. The size of the finished piece will then change according to the yarn.
You will also need a size 2.5 crochet hook, scissors, and a yarn needle.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds. The pattern includes link tips for crochet techniques.

Crochet pattern triangular shawl for any yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this triangular shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like – the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, hook/needle size according to the label 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. For visual reasons, I would not recommend thicker yarn. I decided for myself not to block the shawl, because then the curves of the shell pattern stand out better – but that is a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochets, half double crochets, double crochets, front post double crochets (explained).

The PDF pattern is illustrated over 15 pages, but it is not a crochet course. A link/video tip for a crochet course, among other things, is included.

The PDF contains

  • in the first part, detailed instructions with corresponding photos,
  • in the second part, a shorter version that is also illustrated, and
  • last but not least, a brief scarf/shawl variation.
Difficulty level: easy to intermediate - no crochet chart - no gauge required

Women's Hat Violetta - crocheted from raffia

(to purchase/download, please click the image)

Well hatted - ready for summer..with a crocheted hat made of “paper.” The cellulose material is featherlight and can be “scrunched” into any bag. Raffia “yarns” are either raffia or viscose, depending on the manufacturer. Of course, it can also be crocheted with other yarns of similar yardage and hook size (see below).

Basic crochet skills for crocheting in rounds are enough.

The PDF pattern is illustrated step by step for head circumference 52 cm to 55 cm and can easily be adjusted for a different head circumference (described in the pattern). Also included are a summary for printing, as well as links and tips for beginners.

We need: approx. 85 g (= 4 skeins of 25 g each) Rafia (Adriafil), 100% cellulose (wood pulp), hand wash, 25 g – approx. 50 m yardage, for crochet hook size 4.5 – 5.0, used here: crochet hook size 4.5; measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for sewing in ends, optionally a narrow velvet ribbon approx. 110 cm long

Crochet Pattern Bottle Outfit Black-Red-Gold

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

.. an original gift wrapping for wine and sparkling wine bottles– an eye-catcher at any party.. for her, a “bottle petticoat,” and for him, a “bottle suit with bow tie”, crocheted.

Yarn leftovers can be used up wonderfully this way, because we only need per bottle
approx. 25 g per color, so approx. 75 g of a yarn for crochet hook size 2.5. Pretty much any yarn is suitable, as long as it is not labeled for a hook size thicker than 3.0. We also need a measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, a stitch marker is helpful (a contrasting thread will do, too), and of course standard wine or sparkling wine bottles.

Both patterns are included in one PDF and are explained in detail with pictures over 15 pages. The pattern is not a basic crochet course, but it does include a helpful link tip for those who are not as experienced.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, crocheting in rows and rounds, slip stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet. Front and back post double crochet are explained and shown in pictures.

Potholder “So Green, So Green” - Tunisian crochet

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A touch of fresh spring green as kitchen decor or for real
use as a potholder made from 100% cotton – a useful little gift
for all kinds of occasions.

Both the PDF pattern for the potholder and the pattern for the crochet flower(s) are illustrated step by step.

Materials
:
For 1 standard-size potholder, 21 cm x 21 cm:
50 g light green + 50 g dark green crochet yarn made from 100%
cotton/plant fiber for heat resistance, e.g.
Schoeller+Stahl Record 210, 50 g- 90 m, according to the ball band 16 sts x 24 rows = 10 x
10 cm), so 50 g per color for the Tunisian crochet hook up to max.
size 4.5.

For the flower(s), leftover cotton yarn is enough, e.g. Catania
(Schachenmayr) or Limone (Schoeller+Stahl) for crochet hook size 2.5 - 3.5.

Note: heat-resistant cotton yarn (= potholder yarn) is only
lightly twisted and is therefore difficult to
crochet with, especially for beginners, because the yarn splits a lot. So if
heat resistance is not that important to you, e.g. if you don’t place a hot
pot on the potholder, you can also crochet with a cotton-blend yarn,
e.g. Pantino by Schoeller+Stahl.

You will also need a measuring tape, scissors, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends

General crochet knowledge is sufficient; the Tunisian crochet technique is explained with pictures.

The original yarn specified in your pattern has a yardage of 85 m per 50 g. According to the instructions there, you need 600 g of this “original yarn” for your size. But you would like to make your piece in a different yarn (= alternative yarn). The yarn you have chosen has a yardage of 70 m per 50 g skein. You enter this information in the Excel spreadsheet and immediately receive the required quantity of your desired yarn in skeins and grams.

A gauge swatch is always advisable. To determine the number of stitches needed for your individual knitted piece, the simple version of my Excel conversion table for your gauge is included as a bonus.

Technical note:
To open an Excel spreadsheet, a spreadsheet program such as Excel, LibreOffice (available free of charge http://de.libreoffice.org/) or OpenOffice (available free of charge http://www.openoffice.org/de/) must be installed. Open the file with a double click and, if the message “Protected View” appears, please click “Enable Editing”

Good luck with all your projects

Fancy an airy scarf that’s perfect to wear in summer?
Then get the pattern for the gorgeous Peara scarf.

The incorporated beads give it that special finishing touch. But even without beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes especially beautifully and can be worn in many ways. The scarf can be varied in length and width, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn. It looks especially beautiful in a gradient yarn, e.g. from 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel. Size after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1000 meters)
  • Crochet hook appropriate for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use one size larger)
  • Beads (e.g. rocailles – the hole should be large enough that it
  • does not sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for stringing the beads
  • Sewing needle for weaving in ends
Skills needed:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crocheting stitches together
The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial on crocheting the beads into the edge as well as into the flower pattern, written instructions, and detailed crochet charts. Difficulty level: easy.

(Click the image to purchase/download )

Here it is—the much-requested PDF table for determining the number of stitches to cast on : LOOK IT UP INSTEAD OF CALCULATING —whether printed out or on a smartphone, it’s always at your fingertips—this PDF table is simply handy when you're out and about.

You crochet or knit your gauge swatch (at least 10 cm x 10 cm), count how many stitches you have in 10 cm, and can then easily look up in the table how many stitches you need to cast on for your desired measurement.

For pattern instructions that say “number of
stitches divisible by … plus …,” I recommend this Excel spreadsheet (click here).

Crochet Pattern Poncho with Möbius Cowl Collar (Loop) - easy

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick and easy to crochet...

With this crochet method, you can decide while crocheting how large the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn, 100 g – 100 m, and an 8.0 mm crochet hook. Yarn needed for both pieces: approx. 700 g.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and is illustrated, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you make is mirrored, meaning one horizontal half appears like the right outer side, while the second half appears like the wrong inner side of the pattern. This creates clever effects depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

Fancy a fruit cocktail? In these temperatures, that’s definitely not a bad idea! Why not decorate it with matching coasters and glass covers? The hole in the middle fits a straw perfectly, so your cocktail stays wasp-free.
The coasters are very easy and quick to crochet. All you need are the right colors (about 20 g total per coaster) and a crochet hook (3.5 mm). And, of course, the pattern. You can get it here!

Crochet Beanie 'Tabata' & Möbius Scarf Collar/Loop (m/f)

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Hello, dear crochet fans,

this crochet set (m/f) in fashionable gray consists of a beanie and a Möbius scarf collar/loop.

The PDF pattern is written for head circumferences of 52 cm – 60 cm and includes both – hat and loop (loop in one size).

It is illustrated, but requires general crochet knowledge (chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting in rounds, slip stitches, increases and decreases). The special stitches are illustrated and described. I would describe the difficulty level as “intermediate.”

For the hat, 150 g is required, and for the loop, 100 g of a yarn with 50 g – 75 m yardage. Unlike the hook size on the yarn label, this is crocheted with hook sizes 8.0 and 10.0.

Crochet Pattern: Poncho with Möbius Scarf Collar (Loop) – Quick and Easy

(Click the image to purchase/download )

Quick and easy to crochet...

With this crochet method, you can decide how big you want the poncho to be as you go—just stop crocheting when you’re happy with it.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn (100 g – 100 m) and a size 8.0 crochet hook. Other yarns are perfectly fine; what’s important are the specified starting measurements. The principle remains the same.

The PDF pattern includes instructions for both the poncho and the Möbius scarf and is illustrated , but it is not a crochet course in itself.

You’ll need the following crochet skills :
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, and crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you’ve worked appears mirrored—that is, one horizontal half looks like the right outer side, while the other half looks like the left inner side of the pattern. This creates subtle effects depending on how the scarf is draped and how the pattern falls.

This gnome house is a fun and versatile container for all kinds of small items. It’s quick and easy to crochet using the pattern if you have basic crochet skills.

For example, I store my yarn in it. The door is open at the top, so all kinds of little things like needles or buttons can be stored there.

For children, the house is a wonderful, creative toy they will love—together with the gnomes, which are also available in my shop. And at breakfast, everyone in the family will be in a good mood right away when the rolls are hidden in this gnome house.

You can also leave off the face if you like. Even as a house without decoration, it looks very decorative and can be used in many different ways.

Click here for the crochet pattern for the gnome house.

Scrubby Sponge Ball with or without a Face plus Dishcloth - Crochet Pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Quick to crochet with popular scrubby sponge yarn (washable at 60°C in the dishwasher or washing machine).

Included in the download :
  • PDF crochet pattern for a scrubby sponge ball with an embroidered face (diameter approx. 7 cm)
  • PDF crochet pattern for a dishcloth (dimensions: approx. 20 cm x 20 cm)
Both patterns include a short version and a detailed, illustrated pattern, as well as crochet basics with all stitches used.
Addition to the pattern for the dishcloth: if you would like to crochet a hanging loop onto the cloth, you can crochet the hanging loop according to the scrubby sponge ball pattern.

The embroidered little face gives the scrubby sponge ball a fun touch for gifts. If the ball (not filled) is pushed outward, it is a smiling scrubby sponge; pushed inward, it is a “Halloween face.” If left without a “face,” the ball also looks great as a Christmas ornament .

Material for 1 dishcloth + 1 scrubby sponge ball:
approx. 50 g Rico Creative Bubble, 100% polyester, e.g. color 007 light blue + 50 g (or leftover yarn) color 012 black, 50 g – 100 m, washable at 60 °C in the dishwasher, crochet hook 4.0; , scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends.
NOTE: In this yarn, black is only suitable for embroidering or for borders.
If the dishcloth is used as a potholder, please use 100% cotton yarn (potholder yarn) because of its heat resistance.

Crochet pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(For purchase/download, please click the image)

This scarf collar is wonderfully quick to crochet and  beautifully perks up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time. Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern , basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Triangular Shawl/Lace Shawl RÖSLEIN - Crochet Pattern

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

From just 1 Bobbel (200 g – 800 m), here Woolly Hugs Cotton, color 25, with a 3.5 mm crochet hook
Crochet 2 triangular lace shawls - this works beautifully with this pretty and yardage-friendly openwork pattern. Of course, you can also crochet one large shawl – depending on your wishes, mood, and preference. This shoulder warmer offers many wearing options and can also be used nicely as a scarf.

Here I used
  • for the dark green shawl, the yarn from the outside inward: approx. 72 cm x 185 cm;
  • for the light green shawl, from the remaining cake, the yarn from the inside outward: approx. 65 cm x 160 cm
Difficulty level: intermediate, easy for experienced crocheters.

The PDF crochet pattern is written in text form, with a separate step-by-step illustrated section, which makes a crochet chart unnecessary. Illustrated crochet basics are included.
