This beautiful colorful pillow is a classic and simply puts you in a good mood—even while crocheting. And even more so later, when it brightens up the children’s room or the garden bench.

The crochet pattern is also well suited for crochet beginners. We crochet chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet. I used 200 g of “Bravo-Original” yarn by Schachenmayr; “Lisa-Premium” by Gründl works too—the colors are up to you. The
pillow is approx. 41 x 35 cm in size.

I find it especially practical that you can crochet the individual hexagons for the pillow anywhere—making it an ideal vacation or on-the-go project. Just take along a few small balls of yarn and a crochet hook, and you’re ready to get started. At the end, all the hexagons are joined together to make a pillow.

I wish you lots of joy with the project and a beautiful pillow.
Warm regards—Yours, Ina

Cheerful, funny, and brightly colored, Pino the Bird of Paradise struts through the world.
He’s a totally crazy leftover yarn devourer and has gobbled up so much leftover yarn that he’s become brightly colored and round as a ball.

When finished, Pino will be about 32 cm tall (when using the specified hook size and yarn weight). You’ll receive a detailed 20-page pattern with plenty of photos to help you follow along.

Also suitable for ambitious beginners.

Prerequisites:
This pattern does not include a beginner’s tutorial. You should already know how to crochet single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

You’ll also need:
  • approx. 200 g of leftover yarn (needle size 3–4) in various colors
  • Size 4.5 crochet hook
  • A threading needle and a tapestry needle
  • stuffing
  • 2 safety eyes, size 12 mm

Using this pattern, you can crochet a pretty skirt (any size). The comfortable elastic is worked directly into the waistband as you crochet, making it easier for the girl to put on and take off.
  • Materials list: This pattern is ideal for using up leftover yarn. The amount of yarn needed varies depending on the size of the skirt. I crocheted this skirt for my 4-year-old daughter and used a total of 130 g of yarn. I used Katia Cotton Stretch (87% cotton, 13% polyester) 50 g, 170 m. However, you’re welcome to use a different yarn, such as cotton or a cotton-blend yarn. Crochet hooks sizes 3 and 4.
  • The pattern is illustrated in detail and suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills.
This pattern is still quite simple, as you only need to know how to make chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets.

If you need a splash of color for the kitchen, you’re in the right place. Knitted in summer colors, this potholder is sure to put you in a good mood.

You can find the pattern here.

You’ll need a little colorful cotton for it, about 40 m (also ideal for using up small leftovers), and suitable knitting needles. For a potholder, I recommend going down a needle size a bit so the knitted fabric becomes dense and firm. But you can also use the pattern to make a dishcloth from it.
Or you can just keep knitting and knitting and turn it into a scarf :-)
The pattern is very easy and also suitable for beginners. You need to know knit and purl stitches—that’s all.

What’s the bigger version of “Tupfer”? “Tupf”? Well, here’s a “Tupf,” because this is already a somewhat larger project.

A crocheted scarf in vibrant colors. It’s mainly crocheted in a simple mesh pattern, with a few cables in between—but they’re not difficult either and are explained in a tutorial.
You’ll need 2 skeins of sock yarn. The result is a very light and airy scarf.

I love bright colors, and when crocheting it’s really fun to combine them and sometimes dare to try new color combinations. Here are three suggestions from my shop. With these patterns, you can definitely let loose with color:

--> Crochet pattern: Crochet-covered jars "Lichterschein"
These lanterns are cheerfully colorful and bring real color into your home and garden. You only need one large empty yogurt jar and leftover yarn, and you’re ready to get started.

--> Crochet pattern: Crochet the "Smile" pillow
Get the pattern for this colorful pillow in rainbow colors. Or would you rather crochet it in other colors, e.g. in your favorite colors?

--> Crochet pattern: Crochet a square hat
With the right yarn, this hat can be worn in spring, fall, and winter. You can crochet it just as colorfully, or with only 2 or 3 colors—just as you like. The pattern includes all sizes for children and adults.

Crazy Scrunchies

They’re back in style—those hair scrunchies from the ’80s. Those big scrunchies with lots of fabric, glitter, and bright pop colors. Can’t we crochet or knit those too? Of course we can ;-)
This is more of a modular kit than a pattern. There’s the base piece, and on top of that we can crochet or knit different things. So we have all kinds of possibilities!
What do we need? (Of course, you don’t need everything listed here—if you just want to crochet, for example, you don’t need knitting needles.)

  • Scraps of yarn weighing between 5 g and 10 g.
  • This one is made of polyacrylic yarn for needle size 3–3.5 (suggested yarns include, for example: Lisa, Bravo, sock yarn, or…)
  • Elastic for a hair tie or a ready-made hair tie
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
We don’t need all of these:
  • Matching crochet hook
or
  • Circular knitting needle or 2 needles from a set of double-pointed needles
Nice to have, but not necessary:
  • knitting mill or knitting dolly
Pattern is available here:

Roomy, colorful, and cozy, this batwing sweater comes along and brightens up any boring outfit in no time!
With its wide batwing sleeves, it’s the perfect companion all year round—whether at home, at the movies or on a walk—it simply always fits!

This project is absolutely suitable for beginners , since the sleeves do not need to be worked separately.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and L/XL.
However, the included schematic and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

This scarf made from sock yarn is very well suited for colorful gradient yarns.

Here you can read more about it.

The construction is ingenious: the scarf starts and ends with just a few stitches, widens in the middle, and has a decorative lace edge on one side. The decorative color effect comes from the fact that it is knitted diagonally.
For this, you need one skein of sock yarn and 3.5 mm knitting needles.

For anyone who likes things a little more colorful, these flowers are a must-have. Their uses are virtually endless: You can use them to decorate gift wrapping, adorn door wreaths, arrange them on a canvas to create a colorful picture, and so much more…

The pattern includes template drawings for 3 flower shapes, each in 5 to 7 sizes ranging from about 3 to 7.5 cm, as well as circle templates for flower centers. This lets you create multicolored, multi-layered flowers or stick to just one layer and color.
These decorative flowers are very easy to make and are ideal for beginners as well as for crafting with children.
