Crochet Pattern: 3D-Look Pot Holders (Cubes)

These fantastic 3D-look pot holders are a must-have in any kitchen. Totally trendy and modern, they’re guaranteed to catch the eye of your guests—especially the younger ones.
They’re quick to crochet , so you can even make a few of them when the weather isn’t great. Just grab some yarn and get started.
Using the yarn specified, the pot holders will measure approximately 17 cm (side to side) and 19 cm (corner to corner) . If you’d like the pot holders to be a bit larger, you can use slightly thicker yarn and a larger crochet hook.

Crochet Pattern: A Heart to Give Away

A quick and wonderful project for people who need quick wins
Hearts are always WELL received!
In my very detailed written pattern, I offer these hearts in 2 different sizes, so they can be used as keychains or also as decoration or gifts. 

A small “crochet school” is also included in the pattern.

Your Dorigurumi

This little door wreath is super easy to crochet and looks very decorative. You can also use the little roses as embellishments for a child’s hat or a gift. You’ll need a 12 cm diameter styrofoam wreath, some leftover cotton yarn in shades of pink and white, and maybe a few beads.

Knitting pattern Summer Top with Cowl Neck

This summer top with the unusual collar knits up quickly.

The download also includes an Excel spreadsheet for converting your individual gauge. For this you need Excel or LibreOffice; the latter is available as a free download on the internet.

The PDF pattern is illustrated, but it is not a basic knitting course (a link for basic knitting techniques is included).

Difficulty level: medium / easy for experienced knitters.

These knitting skills are required:
Cast on stitches, purl and knit stitches, yarn over, knit stitches together, slipped stitch decrease (explained), increase from the strand between stitches, bind off stitches.

We need for sizes S/M/L: 300 g cotton (blend) ribbon yarn, Keiki by Austermann used here, 63% cotton, 37% polyamide, for needle size 5–6, gauge according to the label 16 stitches x 23 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, 50 g – 90 m, pins for blocking, measuring tape, yarn needle for sewing in ends, scissors, row counter is helpful.
Used here: knitting needle size 5.0. 

Crochet pattern for a poncho with a Möbius cowl collar (loop) - easy

Quick and easy to crochet... (I crocheted both pieces in 1 weekend)

With this crochet method, you can decide while crocheting how big the poncho should be – you simply stop crocheting whenever you like.

The poncho and Möbius scarf are made with thick gradient yarn 100 g – 100 m and an 8.0 mm crochet hook.

The PDF pattern includes the poncho and Möbius scarf and has photos, but it is not a crochet course in itself.

These crochet skills are needed:
chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crocheting in rows, crocheting in rounds.

By the way: with a Möbius scarf, the pattern you create is mirrored, i.e. one horizontal half looks like the right outside, while the second half looks like the wrong inside of the pattern. This creates sophisticated effects, depending on how the scarf is wrapped
and how the pattern falls.

This summer loop brings the quickest sense of achievement of all,

it is knitted with a size 6 circular needle using knit and purl stitches,

and when binding off, you get to do something that is usually a mistake in knitting,
namely dropping stitches,

all of this is explained simply and clearly in the pattern,
so even beginners can manage it!

Knitting Pattern Loop 'Violetta'

This reversible loop scarf can be knitted quickly in one weekend.

Finished measurements: approx. 156 cm circumference x 32 cm (curls up). But you can also pull it open and wear it as a shoulder warmer. Wearable in every season, it can be worn 1 x / 2 x or 3 x around the neck and matches the “Violetta” hat and “Violetta” bag.

Required

• Knitting skills: casting on stitches, knit stitches, knitting in the round with a circular knitting needle
• Crochet skills: chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches (needed for the final, but crucial, round)

The PDF pattern is illustrated. Difficulty level: fairly easy.

Material:
100 g Catania (Schachenmayr) or Limone (Austermann), 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m for needle size 2.5 – 3.5, circular knitting needle size 8.0 used here (because of the double strand) with an 80 cm cable length; gauge according to the yarn label: 26 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Crochet pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

This collar wonderfully jazzes up sweaters and shirts. 

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with 50 g – 160 m yardage and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 mm crochet hook) and can be finished quickly in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time.

However, other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, though, the pattern shows up better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern, basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included.

Neck Warmer with Traditional Buttons—Quick and Easy to Knit

This is a short PDF pattern for a knitted neck warmer—shown here with traditional buttons. However, you can also use other buttons, which will change the style.

Materials needed:

50 g merino yarn, 50 g – 120 m for needle size 3–4 according to the label, but here we used needle size 4.5 (for a softer result); a wool needle for weaving in ends, measuring tape, scissors, 1 traditional button with an eyelet (23 mm) + 2 decorative buttons (18 mm).

The knitting pattern includes the cover photo, an enlarged view of the pattern, and a sketch.


You’ll need to know these knitting techniques : casting on, knit stitch and purl stitch, edge stitch, yarn over, knitting two stitches together, and binding off. The pattern is simple.

Quick-Knit Summer Shirt

This easy-to-knit summer design, size 38/40, is made from only 250 g cotton-blend yarn for needle size 3.5–4.0 mm, 50 g = 125 m.

The PDF pattern includes photos.

The finished shirt has a stretchy back width of approx. 44 cm and is approx. 65 cm long, but it also looks pretty when made shorter. Thanks to the simple pattern (made up of yarn overs, knit and purl stitches) and the cut, this piece can be easily adapted to any size.

What else you will need:
measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle for weaving in ends, stitch holder, possibly a set of double-pointed needles size 3.5–4.0 mm; a row counter and stitch marker are helpful, but not absolutely necessary.
