Have you ever heard of dream monsters? Two weeks ago, my older daughter painted her dream monsters and explained in great detail which monster does what.
The stories would be enough to fill an entire book. So I simply took her drawing and crocheted these dream monsters. My daughter’s joy when I gave her the dream monsters was so huge, and of course that is the loveliest compliment for me as a mom and designer. Maybe Nino, Sabsi, Gregor, and Cora can help one of your children dream and sleep, too. (By the way, my daughter also came up with the first names—the last names are the only ones from me)
But here’s the short version of which little monster is responsible for what:
Cora Confetti makes all dreams colorful and cheerful.
Nino Nachttraum is a cuddly monster that is responsible in dreams for everything having to do with water,
for example, he lets you dream of a beautiful beach.
Sabsi Sonnenzauber brings radiantly bright dreams.
Gregor Graunebel usually stays a bit hidden and makes sure no nightmares sneak in
I love working with different yarns; that really shines here with the dream monsters. They all come from one basic pattern, and yet each little monster looks unique.
The patterns are available individually for each monster, but also as a single combined pattern.
