All-Season Bolero Size S/M - knitted

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

This simple bolero can be worn with a top underneath in warmer seasons, or, for example, over a fine turtleneck in the colder seasons as a shoulder warmer. And knitted in black,
it goes wonderfully with an evening dress.

This bolero is made from 200 g of especially soft 4-ply STEP sock yarn by Austermann (with aloe vera and jojoba oil), using size 4.0 mm knitting needles in seed stitch and stockinette stitch. Comparable yarns should have a yardage of approx. 420 m/100 g. (Lace) yarns are especially suitable. However, it really should be the same weight, as I worked out the curve specifically for this.

The PDF pattern is illustrated with 14 photos (but it is not a basic knitting course).

Basic knitting skills are required.

Difficulty level due to the curve: intermediate / easy for experienced knitters

Cardigan/Knitted Jacket Gita - Sizes 36 to 42 One Size

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

A lightweight knitted piece for all seasons – whether worn over or under – simple, with an eye-catching collar area.

Both patterns used are absolutely easy (only knit and purl stitches). The collar design requires a little care. Unlike the “Margit” model, the sleeves are knitted with a sleeve cap. The length is variable.

The illustrated pattern with stitch- and row-by-row instructions is based on a gauge of approx. 14.5 sts = approx. 10 cm with size 6.0 knitting needles. Due to the casual shape and stretchiness of the jacket, one stitch more or less is not that crucial. So it’s no problem if 14 or 15 sts = approx. 10 cm. If your gauge differs more significantly, please choose a larger or smaller knitting needle size.
The pattern does not include a knitting course, but it does include helpful link tips.

Difficulty level due to the collar design: medium

We need
225 g KidSilk by Austermann, color 40 Emerald, 75% kid mohair, 25% silk, information according to the ball band: needles 3–4, 18 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm, hand wash, 25 g – 225 m yardage;
Alternative yarns: e.g. Kid-Seta (Schulana) or Kid Mohair/KidSilk (Adriafil) – in each case the same amount for the total back length knitted here of approx. 71 cm. This material is knitted with double strand.
Additional yarn alternatives are included in the pattern.

Used here: size 6.0 knitting needles, pins, measuring tape, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors, stitch markers, and row counter if needed.

Crochet pattern for a lightweight summer bracelet

Details & pattern

This bracelet is especially comfortable to wear in the summer. Simply crochet it a bit longer, and you’ll have the perfect necklace to go with it. In a different color, the bracelet takes on a whole new look and can be coordinated with your summer wardrobe (whether casual or elegant).

Even beginners can quickly crochet this bracelet.

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a beautiful loop scarf in pastel colors and pure silk for the summer. The beautiful color sequences are created by the color gradient of the yarn used. Of course, you can also crochet this loop scarf with solid-colored yarn or use any other yarn.
  • This pattern is still quite easy because you only need to know chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitches.
Material needed: 250 g total, yardage per 50 g/100 m. Crochet hook size 4

Here’s the pattern

With the help of this pattern, you can crochet a pretty tunic for summer.
  • The tunic was crocheted using a soft, high-quality yarn made of 55% silk and 45% cotton, making it very comfortable to wear. Of course, any other yarn can be used, but I recommend using a cotton-blend yarn for summer. For size 38, I used ten half-balls (1,200 m, 260 g).
The pattern is suitable for beginners with basic crochet skills and is quite simple, since you only need to know chain stitches, double crochets, and single crochets.

An airy triangular shawl goes perfectly with elegant clothing,

it is very easy to make; it uses only knit and purl stitches,
increasing stitches and yarn overs, which are later dropped again,

it is best knitted with a circular knitting needle and 100 g of Tahiti cotton,

here is the pattern

The knitted stole Fanyamar is beautiful and elegant.

With a little trick, it can be transformed into a delicate poncho. It is the highlight for festive occasions!

Fanyamar was designed for lace yarns, because that is how its delicate and airy character is shown to best advantage. Nevertheless, the stole also looks dreamily beautiful in thicker yarns, such as sock yarn. However, the chosen yarn should definitely not be any thicker.

Materials needed:
  • approx. 150 grams of yarn (approx. 750 meters) lace yarn (e.g. Lace Seta / Lace Seta degradé by Lana Grossa, Laceball by Schoppel)
  • Size 4 circular knitting needle; I recommend a cable system with interchangeable needle tips
  • Kitchen scale
  • stitch markers if needed
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • Scissors
  • if needed, a crochet hook and beads for the cord, or a piece of thin satin ribbon so the stole can be worn as a poncho
Skills needed:
  • knit stitches
  • purl stitches
  • yarn overs
  • knit stitches together
The stole is started at one corner with just 3 stitches. It gets its shape through regular increases and decreases. The pattern includes stitch counts for 2 different sizes.
The narrower version measures approx. 60 x 160 cm after blocking.
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes a written-out version as well as knitting charts and a schematic drawing.

Difficulty level: intermediate to advanced.

All in white.... The knitted Galadriel stole is dreamily elegant.

This stunning stole is knitted from the center out toward both sides. It’s finished off with a beautiful leaf border. Two rows of beads are incorporated along the edges, which, together with the border, are the highlight of the design.

In a creamy white shade, the stole is a highlight with a wedding dress, but it’s also an absolute showstopper as an accessory to an evening gown in elegant black or dark red!

Materials needed:

  • approx. 150 gr lace or sock yarn (the yarn shouldn’t be any thicker, otherwise the stole might lose its airy character)
  • Beads
  • a piece of very thin wire or dental floss
  • leftover yarn for the provisional cast-on
  • Knitting needles, sizes 2.5–4 mm
  • Crochet hook size 3.5–4 mm
  • Sewing needle for weaving in the ends
  • Scissors
  • Kitchen scale to measure yarn usage
Required skills:
  • Knit stitch
  • Purl stitches
  • Yarn overs
  • Knit two stitches together
  • Purl two stitches together
  • Twisted knit decreases to the left and right

The stole requires a provisional cast-on, which is explained in the pattern. The pattern also explains how to work in beads. The pattern is 9 pages long and includes written instructions, charts, and a diagram.

Difficulty level: medium.

The Peara crocheted scarf looks especially elegant thanks to its incorporated beads.

Even without beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its construction, it drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

The scarf’s length and width can be adjusted, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.
It looks especially beautiful in a gradient yarn, such as 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.
Dimensions after blocking: approx. 200 x 40 cm

Materials

needed:

  • approx. 100–200 grams of yarn (or 800–1,000 meters)
  • Crochet hook appropriate for the yarn used (if you crochet tightly, use a larger size)
  • Beads (e.g., rocailles—the hole should be large enough so they
  • don’t sit too tightly on the yarn)
  • a piece of very thin wire for threading the beads
  • Sewing needle for weaving in ends
Required skills:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet
  • double crochet
  • crocheting stitches together

The pattern is 11 pages long and includes a detailed photo tutorial on how to crochet the beads along the edge and into the flower pattern, as well as written instructions and charts.
Difficulty level: easy.

Skills required:
  • Chain stitches
  • Single crochet
  • double crochet
