This sweet teddy security blanket is not only a delight for the littlest ones. The big ones also need someone to cuddle and comfort them :) Whether with open, shining eyes or with sleeping eyes, the
blankets are simply made for cuddling. Whether in pink or light blue, these teddy security blankets are a highlight in any nursery.

Size of the security blanket: Blanket: 30 x 30 cm, height with teddy head: 32 cm. Depending on the yarn and crochet hook size, the size of the security blanket will vary.

I crocheted the security blanket with Catania yarn from Schachenmayr.

The blanket was crocheted using the C2C technique (in German: from corner to corner). This is crocheted in blocks. I explain the technique step by step in the pattern with lots of pictures.
This technique creates a very beautiful pattern, and once you have started with the C2C technique, you won't want to stop.

Materials needed:
  • Catania (yardage: 50 g = 125 m): dusty pink, approx. 50 g, pink, approx. 25 g, white, approx. 50 g, bright pink, approx. 25 g, leftovers in pastel pink, black, and white
  • Crochet hook sizes 3.5 / 3 / and 2.5, embroidery needle, sewing needle, stuffing
The pattern includes 31 pages with many pictures.

Skills required: single crochet, magic ring, double crochet, and increasing and decreasing stitches

This cloth is a comforter for the very little ones, allowing them to make their first attempts at grasping. Thanks to the different textures and colors, babies have plenty to discover.

You can attach a pacifier to one corner, so everything baby needs is right there.
All stitch patterns are explained individually and shown in a crochet chart. You’ll get plenty of tips on materials and can customize the comforter to suit your own ideas.

Dimensions:
  • Length: 30 cm
  • Width: 24 cm
What you’ll need:
  • Online Line 11 “Alpha,” red, light green, and teal—25 g each; orange—30 g (or yarn of comparable weight: 50 g = 104 m)
  • Crochet hook: Size 4
  • Small wool needle
  • For decoration: possibly bias tape, pom-pom trim, lace trim
What skills do I need?
  • Chain stitches
  • Slip stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Treble crochet
  • Sew the pieces together
I hope you have lots of fun crocheting—and, of course, using it :-)

Little Princess Lovey
This lovey will become the perfect cuddle companion for little princesses. The pattern is described in detail and includes plenty of pictures, so even crochet beginners can make it in no time. The pattern was written for yarn with a yardage of 180 m per 50 g (e.g. Mondial Bio Soft Cotton), but you’ll also find details for yarn with a yardage of 115 m per 50 g (e.g. Catania). Pink approx. 50 g, natural approx. 25 g, mint approx. 25 g, brown approx. 25 g, plus a little black for embroidering the eyes. You should know the following: single crochet, half double crochet, decreases, and increases

With this pattern, you’ll be able to crochet this little doll on your own. The pattern is 19 pages long and generously illustrated. The finished toy will measure approx. 35 cm, depending on the yarn used. Important: This pattern is protected by copyright; therefore, sharing or publishing it is not permitted. Selling finished comfort blankets is also not allowed. For this great project, you’ll need: a size 2–2.5 crochet hook and yarn. I recommend Mondial Bio Soft Cotton (50 g / 180 m). This yarn is made of 100% organic cotton, is very soft, and has been tested for harmful substances, making it ideal for baby toys. Alternatively, you can use Katia “Candy” for Baby or Online Cotton Baby. You can also use a different yarn, but keep in mind that this will change the size of the little doll.Click here to go directly to the pattern

This lovey will be the perfect snuggle companion for your baby. The pattern is described in detail and generously illustrated, so even beginner crocheters can crochet this lovey in no time. The pattern was written for yarn with a length of 50g = 180m (e.g. Mondial Bio Soft Cotton), but of course you can also use other yarns. For this great project, you’ll need: a 2–2.5 mm crochet hook and yarn; I recommend Mondial Bio Soft Cotton (50g–180m). This yarn is made from 100% organic cotton, is very soft, and has been tested for harmful substances, making it ideal for baby toys. You can also use a different yarn, but keep in mind that this will change the size of the lovey. (Pink scraps for the nose and heart; natural-colored yarn, approx. 50 g, for the underside of the lovey; brown yarn, approx. 50 g, for the upper side of the lovey; hazelnut-brown yarn, approx. 50 g, for the head, the spots, and the border of the lovey.) If you use a different type of yarn, you may need to adjust the yarn quantities accordingly.Click here to go directly to the pattern

I’ll show you my “Elephant” lovey

It’s crocheted using lots of single crochet stitches. The pattern is 11 pages long, well illustrated, and easy to follow. Basic crochet skills (single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, chain stitch) are required.

With a yarn length of 133 m per gram (in my case), the elephant measures approx. 17 cm in height and 28 cm in width (measured without the ears and feet).

You’ll need yarn in two different colors. My elephants were crocheted around with a fluffy yarn, which also enhances the tactile effect. You can also sew crinkle film between the head and the body.
