A warm hello to all crochet fans! Let’s crochet the wonderful ++ Ethuil ++ shawl together.
Ethuil is the Elvish word for spring. The shawl’s beautiful green colors are meant to evoke lush spring meadows.

The shawl features two different stitch patterns. Finally, a pretty border finishes it off and makes it something special.

When crocheted with a size 4 hook, the shawl measures

approximately 130x70 cm . The pattern includes:

I knitted the Zibba shawl using 4-ply sock yarn. The pattern is very easy to follow and is ideal for beginners. The knitting pattern does not include a chart; instead, all rows are explained in writing to make it as easy as possible to work. The little highlight of this dragon tail shawl is the bobbles along the edge. They make the shawl something truly special. Whether you use gradient yarn or solid colors, the shawl always looks fantastic. You should know how to knit, purl, yarn over, increase stitches, cast on new stitches, and bind off. Here’s everything you’ll need: Materials: Yarn: 4-ply sock yarn (75% virgin wool, 15% polyamide), 100 g / 420 meters, 2 skeins (130 g) Knitting needles: Circular needle size 3.5 mm and knitting needle size 4 mm (this needle is only needed for binding off to create a loose edge). Other: A tapestry needle for weaving in the ends, and possibly a row counter. Dimensions: Length: approx. 200 cm; Width: approx. 35 cm measured at the deepest point. Gauge: 20 stitches and 38 rows per 10 cm in garter stitch after washing. Gauge is not important for this project. However, a different stitch count may result in a larger or smaller shawl, and the amount of yarn used will change.
