Perfect for the warm, sunny weather, I have this window decoration for you: The dancing butterflies not only brighten up your window but also filter out a few rays when the sun gets too bright.

The decoration is made from photo cardstock and tracing paper; each butterfly measures approximately 37 x 36 cm. The pattern on the wings isn’t all that easy to glue on, so it’s essential to follow the instructions here; otherwise, the butterflies are easy to recreate even for beginners with a little crafting experience.

If you’ve just decided to make another Mother’s Day gift, then I have this tea light holder for you: It’s very quick and easy to make and fits both an LED tea light and a real one perfectly. You can give it as a gift with a tea light inside, or with a praline in the center—the holder is also ideal for that.
 


The holder is made of photo cardstock and is about 13 cm in diameter. For crafters with some experience, it’s very easy to make even without a pattern; for beginners, the illustrated pattern explains everything step by step.
