Dear users, dear authors,
everyone needs living room decor —after all, we all want our living rooms to be cozy.
This thread offers some ideas for that.
Have fun recreating these projects.

@Authors,
this is a promotional thread for all CP authors. 2–3 thematically relevant patterns per author are sufficient. Please link directly to the specific pattern—do not include a general link to the shop. Be sure to include the link, an image, information on materials, techniques, difficulty level, and details about what makes the pattern special.

Crochet Pattern: Soccer Wall Wreath

Every soccer fan likes to decorate their home with fan items.

Simply crochet the small pieces in the colors of your favorite club, and this timeless wall decoration will accompany you throughout the season.

I used cotton, crochet thread, and thicker yarn for the wreath. Leftover yarn can also be used wonderfully. The wreath has a diameter of 22 cm. Basic
crochet skills should be in place.

Last-Minute Egg Cozy BIGGI - quick and easy to knit

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Fun egg cozies, not just for Easter! A lovely decoration and also an ideal way to use up leftover yarn.

Quick and easy to knit in one evening in front of the TV, they also make a last-minute little gift for any occasion.

Basic knitting skills are enough.
We knit in rounds with a set of double-pointed needles. Embellishments can be added as desired and according to your own creativity.

Materials:
Basically, you can use any yarn with a slightly smaller needle size than indicated on the label.

1 egg cozy: approx. 10 g – 15 g yarn (leftovers) + small bits of leftover yarn for decorating;
here: set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 and crochet hook approx. 3.0 for “knotting in hair”;
yarn needle for weaving in ends, sewing needle and buttons if needed, measuring tape, scissors.

Recommendation: safety eyes if the egg cozies are used as amigurumi for toddlers.

Included in the PDF download:

  • Quick pattern in text form, designed for yarns with approx. 105 m yardage per 50 g
  • Step-by-step illustrated pattern, designed for yarns with approx. 85 m yardage per 50 g
each knitted with a set of double-pointed needles size 4.0 (then the egg cozies turn out nice and firm and stand on their own)

  • Photo tutorial “Embroidering in duplicate stitch
  • Photo tutorial “Knotting in hair with a crochet hook"
  • Separate PDF pattern for the “double long-tail cast-on

This pretty wreath is a lovely addition to any living room wall. Not too big (12 cm in diameter) and not overly ornate, it looks very decorative. It’s also easy to crochet—no problem even for beginners. All you need are leftover cotton yarn in shades of pink and white, a small Styrofoam wreath, and a few beads.

You can make this beautiful and large seat cushion yourself. It is approx. 52 cm in diameter and approx. 65 cm high. However, the width/height can be adjusted as desired. The pattern is written so that it can be individually adapted to any size. The pattern is illustrated in detail and suitable for beginners with basic crochet knowledge.
  • For this pattern, you should know the following stitches and terms: magic ring, chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, crochet together.
  • Material: You are welcome to use any yarn you like, but T-shirt yarn is best suited. You’ll find my personal yarn recommendations in the pattern.
Material usage depends on the size of the beanbag. I used approx. 1900 g of yarn.Crochet hook size 7

How about a crocheted decorative piece for your table?

Two versions in one pattern: a table runner and a square centerpiece. The filet pattern features open and filled triangles for those who love graphic, clean, and simple designs. You’re also welcome to crochet the table runner in two colors; the center section and the border are ideal for a contrasting color. You can either crochet it exactly as I did or adjust it to your desired dimensions. I describe in detail how to make these adjustments in the pattern. The pattern includes a general explanation of the technique, instructions on how to determine the number of stitches and rows for other sizes, two crochet charts, the written instructions for both designs, and several photos.
Crocheted with cotton yarn (e.g. Catania) using a size 3 hook, with chain stitches, single crochet, and double crochet.

Have fun! Caro

"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future. Concentrate on the present moment." - QUOTE Buddha

And in this spirit—enjoy the time with your loved ones around a beautifully decorated table!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarity, the pattern includes 3 charts of the motifs, 1 crochet chart, as well as a photo step-by-step explanation for the color change.

The finished table runner measures about 158 x 45 cm. However, the specified gauge and the crochet area between the motifs allow room for individual lengths.

And here you can find the pattern and more details...

Cute Little Flowers This wonderful flower heart looks great in the living room window.

It’s about 21 cm tall and 24 cm wide.

We used cotton yarn for hook sizes 2.5 to 3.5, with a length of 125 m (e.g., Gründl Cotton Quick Uni, Schachenmayr Catania).

You’ll need a size 2.0 crochet hook, stuffing, a hot glue gun, sewing thread, and sewing supplies.

The project is easy and well-suited for beginners. The pattern is 16 pages long and includes plenty of pictures that guide you step by step to creating your dream heart.

Crocheted items are a wonderful way to decorate your living room and give your home not only a very personal touch, but also a loving one. Because "Homemade" = "Made with love"!

Here I can present some ideas from my shop to you:

____________________
The "Smile" crochet pillow is a lovely decorative cushion. But it is also cuddly soft and can therefore be used as a normal pillow too.

The "Lichterschein" tea light holders are cheerfully colorful, but can also be crocheted in more subtle colors. They do not need much space and can therefore be placed anywhere. You can also burn a tea light in them.

This crocheted heart with flowers can be displayed either hanging or lying down. Hearts are always a lovely gift idea, e.g. for Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas, or a birthday.

This flower ball really does remind one of a flower bed. But there’s one very nice difference—you can have this “flower bed” in your room and it requires absolutely no work: Once you’ve made it, the decorative ball will delight you every day with its colorful flowers, regardless of the weather or season.

The flower ball is made of cardstock and measures approximately 18 cm in diameter. It’s very easy to make, and the ball shape into which the flowers are inserted comes together very quickly. There’s a lot of work involved with the flowers, though—there are simply so many of them. But if you’re not afraid of a little cutting, you’ll be rewarded with a unique room decoration.

Every child likes sitting on the floor, so why not make it a little more comfortable?

The finished cushion measures about 29 cm in diameter and is approx. 30 cm high.

A chart guides you through the check pattern. The included cutting template also makes the finishing easier.

And this way to the pattern and more details...
