Dear users, dear authors,
what are you doing this weekend?

Well, the sun is supposed to shine tomorrow and it’s supposed
to get WARM!

I’m going to spruce up my Mediterranean garden.

My brother-in-law is turning 50, and we’re celebrating.
And there’s a horse show at my daughter’s riding stable. We’ll stop by there, too. She’s still too young to compete, but she wants to visit her friends—and especially the horses.

And since my little one has her First Communion next week, we still have to go shopping for shoes and a dress. She wants white shoes with roses and pearls, and they have to sparkle, too. She doesn’t care about the dress because she’ll be wearing the robe over it anyway, but the shoes have to stand out!
I’m praying we can find something even close to what she wants—otherwise, I’ll be out shopping until late tomorrow night.....

We’re finally moving!!!
Our “strong guys” are coming tomorrow morning at 8, and then we’re off!

And on Sunday, we’re invited to our new neighbors’ house for a confirmation coffee gathering.

Hugs—I’m going to do a little crocheting now before I head off to bed with the teeny-tiny one (the little one is at Grandma and Grandpa’s).

It’s the Port Anniversary in Hamburg, and since I work in HafenCity, we’re going to have quite a bit of tourist chaos. But that’s always fun, too.
And at home, I HAVE to crochet. My husband noticed that his coworker just became a dad, and he’d like to give him a gift. Weeks ago, I asked him if I should make something.  At the time, he said, “No, he’s just a coworker.” It could have been so stress-free! Now I’m making baby booties. They have to be finished by Monday morning.

Crocheting or knitting :D what else... haha

I’ve had a few days off lately and was able to enjoy the beautiful weather and the sun out on the patio while crocheting, because I have to work again this weekend—but after that, I’ll have coffee outside if the weather stays like this. But rain is in the forecast, so we’ll see.

On Saturday, I first have to work at my main job, and after that I’ll be completely exhausted. In retail, Saturday is always the busiest day. We don’t have any plans for Sunday yet, so I’m sure I’ll have time for some crafting. I’ve started two new projects and can’t wait to keep working on them. Or maybe start a third one... haha.

On Saturday, I’ll be buying the remaining things for our vacation, because in a week we’re finally heading back to our second home (I’m so excited).

Sunday is family day! A meal at my in-laws’, watching a movie together, and of course plenty of time to relax. I’ll be turning off my phone.

No, seriously. We decided on the spur of the moment yesterday to pay a visit to the Dong Xuan Center in Berlin. It’s a huge Asian shopping center where, among other things, there’s looooooads of yarn!
So, if you don’t hear from me after that, I’ve either gotten lost in its endless expanses or had myself locked in. ;-)

Are stores open on Sundays in Berlin? Or are they always open on Sundays? I’ve never heard of that mall before—I’ll have to Google it right away :-)

It’s always open on Sundays. It’s only closed on Tuesdays.

I Googled it, too. I think it sounds interesting. But I live in Hamburg. I’ll keep it in mind for my next trip to Berlin, though. I just need an excuse to go there. :-) But I’m sure I’ll come up with something.
