Crochet Pattern for Basket / Storage Basket with Handle

This little basket is made in a natural style.
Thanks to the yarn used, the little basket ends up very sturdy. This basket is especially ideal as a gift. Whether for Easter, Mother’s or Father’s Day, a birthday…. For any occasion, the basket can be filled and given as a gift to your heart’s content. Of course also because the basket looks quite neutral.

Everyone can still add their own individual touch with some lovely decorations. In a multi-page pattern, I have explained everything step by step and included many pictures. This means beginners can also work well from my pattern. At the end of the pattern there is also a “Little Crochet School” for better understanding.

Rellana Bandilo 50 g / 165m yardage color 28 held double (hook size 3.5–4.0)/ Crochet hook 4.0 (or as desired)/ Sewing needle/tapestry needle/ scissors/ colorful buttons (e.g., hearts… )

A very special kind of basket is this little gnome house. It’s quick and easy to crochet with the pattern if you have basic crochet skills.


It’s great for storing yarn. The door is open at the top, so you can hide all kinds of little things there, such as needles or buttons.

For children, the house is a wonderful toy—together with the gnomes, which are also available in my shop. And at breakfast, everyone in the family will be in a good mood when the rolls are hidden in this gnome house. 

You can also leave off the face if you like. Even as a house without decoration, it looks very decorative. And without the roof, it is simply a decorative basket.
