Crafting: Why do you enjoy crafting? (no advertising)

What do you like about crafting?

In my case, it’s probably because I really like paper as a material, really enjoy working with it, and keep finding it fascinating when flat, rather flimsy sheets of paper become something three-dimensional and sometimes very sturdy.
Especially with paper crafting, I’ve always had my projects already finished in my mind, and then it’s a matter of trying out whether they really work the way I imagined them, and whether they look good. That’s very exciting, pushes me to explore new paths, and keeps me learning.
I also really like that what I make is truly one of a kind.

I love crafting with paper because it’s easy to work with—even for kids.

The variety of colors brings “life” into the home and makes children’s eyes light up. Whether it’s a window decoration or a table decoration.

I like to do crafts because it lets me spend time with my daughter. She really enjoys it, and I’m usually the “helper”—the one who gets the little things she needs ready, like scissors, glue, and materials, and then usually cleans up the mess afterward.

Plus, we always end up with unique creations. Right now, she’s discovered candle-making, and we’re all being flooded with light.
