The pattern does not include a basic course. You should know how to crochet single crochet stitches, half double crochet and double crochet stitches, as well as chain stitches and slip stitches.

You will also need:

• It is crocheted with yarn, needle size 4, yardage 100 g/276 m; in this case I used “simply DK” by Paintbox Yarns, in the color mandarin orange, 1 skein for the bunny
• for the basket I used yarn for needle size 8 - 9 (yardage 60 m/50 g) in apple green
• Also leftover yarn in white, light blue, and black for the eyes, apricot for the tail and nose, and various other colors for the Easter eggs. (a good way to use up leftover yarn)
• Crochet hooks size 3.5 and 4.5
• Yarn needle, darning needle, stuffing

Spring is here!!! The first 3 rays of sunshine and there's already a beetle alert ;-) Konrad is about 15 to 17 cm tall if you use 40 g of yarn and a size 3 hook. But he can also be crocheted with different yarn weights and hook sizes. Konrad is quick to make and a great way to kick off spring. He’s crocheted using single crochet, so he’s well-suited for beginners, too.

Are you looking for a really fluffy cuddly bunny ?
Then Lovely is just the thing.
It can be crocheted with different types of yarn. The hat for the upright ears can, of course, be removed and put back on; the button encourages practice, and there’s also a bow to tie. The arms and legs are movable. A cuddly bunny for play and motor skills practice. The bunnies measure between 25 cm (cotton yarn) and 30 cm (fancy yarn “Maya”). Whoa! Look at Rüdiger slithering and crawling toward Chuck the rat with sinister intentions! But he didn’t count on the little rodent. Chuck isn’t about to end up as a snake’s breakfast. What Rüdiger doesn’t know: Chuck has a black belt in karat(t)e—and just like that, Chuck has already tied him in a knot. Now Rüdiger will probably have to eat muesli :-)

The pattern explains in detail how to knit Rüdiger, Chuck, and, of course, Chuck’s karat(t)e coat. Rüdiger has a lot of curves, which are achieved using short rows—a great way to practice this technique! Of course, you can also just knit him straight.
