When April is up to its old tricks and the weather does whatever it wants, you need a lightweight shawl that can also be quickly tucked away in your bag when needed.

The beautiful knitted lace shawl Tinuviel is just right for that, because it is made of warming wool, yet so ultralight that it is the ideal companion for changeable April weather.



This enchanting shawl is knitted from the top down; even increases along the edge and within the shawl create its shape.

Required materials:

• approx. 800 meters of lace yarn (e.g. Laceball by Schoppel)
• circular knitting needle size 3 - 4 mm
• beads (e.g. rocailles)
• a piece of very thin wire or dental floss
• sewing needle
• scissors
• kitchen scale

Anyone who decides to work in beads will find a small tutorial on knitting in the beads as part of the pattern.

A beautiful crocheted scarf in cheerful colors brightens up even the gloomiest weather. Just like the Peara scarf.

An unusual construction and the beads incorporated into this gorgeous scarf give it that special finishing touch.
But even without the beads, it’s a real eye-catcher. Thanks to its design, it drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

  

The scarf’s length and width can be adjusted, and it can be crocheted with almost any yarn.
It looks especially beautiful when made with a gradient yarn, such as 100Farbspiele or Laceball by Schoppel.

What’s the best thing to do in bad weather? Handcrafts, of course....

Are you looking for a pick-me-up for the cold April weather? Then the little unicorn sponge is sure to be just the thing for you. It currently lives in Hanover and would love to multiply in Lower Saxony.



The pattern is written in great detail and is suitable for beginners.

Material: creative-bubble dishwashing yarn by rico-design. You can get the yarn in Hanover at Wolle Rödel, right by the main train station. But any other yarn can also be used, and the sponge can be used as an amigurumi. For that, you only need a suitable crochet hook, scissors, and a darning needle.
