I received the yarn for my new project today—gorgeous bamboo yarn for a knitted tunic. And since the weather is supposed to be so-so and our Easter outing has been postponed, I’ll have plenty of time to knit. :-)
There’ll be plenty of time for crafts. Since the weather isn’t cooperating, Sunday’s outing will unfortunately be canceled.
On Saturday afternoon, we’re having a snack with the family, and on Monday at noon, we’re going out to eat with the rest of the family.
That leaves us with plenty of free time at home. With painting, crafting, and crocheting (maybe even knitting again?), the days off will fly by.
I’m really looking forward to being able to crochet a bit in peace during the day for a change. Since I’m working, my time is naturally a bit limited. I still have to take care of the household, after all.
Other than that, we’ll be getting together with friends and family over Easter. The rest of the time is set aside for relaxation and lots of crocheting.
I managed to bake and hand out the “Easter Lamperl” today. So now I can also think about crocheting, even though I really should be writing a knitting pattern and taking care of quite a bit of paperwork—but all nice and relaxed...
I’ve had plenty of time to crochet so far! (Did I mention something about cleaning in the weather thread yesterday? Unfortunately, the mess had to wait until today :D)
If all goes well, I’ll finish my new scarf tomorrow and also the last little bear for my new pattern :)
Traudelina: this North German is having communication problems again :-)
Easter “Lamperl”??? That has nothing to do with lamps, does it??? Easter lamb?
I’m still lying on the sofa, crocheting the baby blanket, and watching “Fernsehgarten” (I think that’s what drove my husband away).
And at 1 p.m., we’re heading over to my in-laws’.
Hihi, this whole North vs. South thing can be pretty tricky sometimes. You’re spot on about the Easter lamb.
That reminds me of the legendary torchlight parade at preschool, where a friend’s son was totally desperate because he didn’t know where to get a piglet on such short notice :-)
We had a brunch at our place on Good Friday and had the rest of the days off. I brought back some fabric from southern France and sewed two pillowcases today. Right now, I’m sewing a matching patchwork blanket to go with them. Now the sofa doesn’t match the pillows and the blanket anymore ;-))
I have to head to work right now. But I’ve already made good progress on my baby blanket. I think it’ll be completely finished by tomorrow evening...
Can’t wait!
